Ozempic - where to buy (no prescription)

DrunkenSailor · 24/12/2022 23:06

Please can someone advise where i can buy Ozempic pens privately at a relatively competitive price? Most of the online pharmacies i checked seem not to have it in stock. I dont have a prescription. I am in London, in case there are stores that stock it locally. I am about 20kgs overweight and would like to give this a try, post the usual online consultations. Thank you.

@elzavet if it is just the case of reconsidering your attitude to nutrition why can't you do this instead of taking ozempic?

Because without Ozempic you have no motivation. Neither physical nor financial!

Oh god, the assumptions on this thread!

We are all different

Nootkah · 01/02/2024 16:50

@DrunkenSailor

You need to be looking for wegivy, not ozempic for weight loss (its the same thing, but different name for weight loss).

Loads of online suppliers, mybmi (v.reliable, i use these) , asda pharmacy (cheapest), boits, zava, voy... Just do a search for wegovy.

However, if youre just starting out, zepbound (weight loss version of moynjaro) should be available in a few weeks and it's reportedly even more effective.

Oblomov23 · 01/02/2024 17:15

Dh gets it on nhs, but had been told that none of the alternatives are currently available, nor do they know when they will be.

This is not entirely true. As you correctly noted, its the same thing, but different name for weight loss. And all these drugs contain the same active ingredient semaglutide.
I haven't used Ozempic because I don't like injections. Instead I used rybelsus, which is sold in tablets and contains the same semaglutide. And it works, I’ve lost about 12lbs in just over 4 weeks.

Lanawashington · 02/02/2024 10:08

@Elzavet where do you get your tablets from? I can't seem to find them anywhere

Nootkah · 02/02/2024 10:27

@Lanawashington mybmi offer them as an alternative. I'm sure lots of others do.

I can't write the source here because it might be considered an advertisement.

Lanawashington · 02/02/2024 11:17

You are definitely allowed to name them on here, other people on the thread have done so with where they buy their injections from

I can give you a link to the online pharmacy where I buy. If you then want to share it with others, you can do it yourself. I'm afraid that my account will be blocked if I do this.

Elzavet, me too if you would ...

Peridot1 · 07/02/2024 16:09

For those of you looking to source Ozempic you will be better to source Wegovy at this point as it is licensed for weight loss whereas Ozempic is licensed for diabetes and is still in short supply. The tablet form of the same semaglutide drug Rybelsus only comes in lower doses as far as I am aware.

Rybelsus doesn’t quite have the same effect as the injection also.

Wegovy is now available from Boots, Asda and Superdrug online doctor services if you meet the criteria.

Elzavet · 07/02/2024 20:39

Hey there, just replied to everyone who reached out to me. Just want to make it clear that I don't have info on where to buy injectable Semaglutide like Ozempic or Wegovy. I've been using Rybelsus. For those who asked, I've sent the link. Regarding injectable Semaglutide, there are pros and cons. Yes, they might have a stronger effect due to higher dosages. But there are downsides too. For someone like me, who can't stand and is scared of injections, it's a big deal. Also, injectables like Ozempic and Wegovy need specific storage and transportation conditions! From what I know, they usually need to be kept in the fridge at temperatures between 2 to 8C, away from heat and never frozen, as it can reduce their effectiveness. You can't easily take them with you on vacation with those requirements. Rybelsus doesn’t have these problems. I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. This is just my experience. It's up to each individual to decide what, where, and how to purchase and use

Hope it works for you, Mary. Is it a daily dose, or weekly?

Lanawashington · 14/02/2024 13:10

Not sure I would trust that link. It says it's nearly £14 per tablet and seems to be a bit of a dodgy website

Titwillow55 · 14/02/2024 13:19

I get wegovy from Numan

You really shouldn’t be buying ozempic for weight loss. It’s for diabetics and apparently they are struggling to get stock. As others have said Wegovy is widely available from many online pharmacies. I got my Wegovy from bolt pharmacy for £159 which is a lot cheaper than the non-licensed ozempics too.

MaryCruz · 22/02/2024 22:00

Thanks to Elzavet. I have been taking 7mg for 10 days now. I have lost about 2 pounds. Some constipation and diarrhoea. It doesn't bother me too much. I don't have a a metallic taste or anything like that. If I feel nauseous, I drink some water or eat something and that helps. I'm going to stay on the 7mg dosage for now because I tolerate it well and it does what it's supposed to do. My appetite has decreased and I don't crave sweets as often, rarely at all. I am worried about the long term effects, reading all the reviews posted. Overall the medication is doing what I want it to do.

WeightInLine · 22/02/2024 22:15

If it works for you, it works and you will lose lots of weight - potentially life changing amounts.

Don’t be put off by people who say you will put it all back on. Of course you can’t go back to old ways - it you’ll feel so much better you won’t want to.

I have a juniper code if anyone wants it but I think you can find cheaper online.
