We have some salter ones but are extremely inaccurate (2kg range if moved around the same room). We still can see the trend but have no idea of our real weight.

Any recommendations?

Doesn't really matter as long as you are consistent with where you have them and look at the trend

Unfortunately sometimes it's impossible to see the trend, long term we get an overall idea, but like on Saturday, I was 64.2kg, then 66.8kg, 63.2kg, and then it settled around 65kg. It was exactly the same for my DH, we know we're losing weight, but considering we're "fine tuning" at this point, we'd like some accuracy.

Yes but trends are over months not days. I have a set of digital that are literally 20 years old, had since uni. They are tanita. Seem to do the job

With marathon training (which we both are) weight loss is definitely accelerated, so we really want to be precise.

I have John Lewis digital glass scales about £20. Had them about 5 years and no issues. DH has a more expensive set that tell him all sorts (body fat I think) but I just want my actual weight.

I keep them in my bathroom, tiled floor, in the exact same position. If you move them onto carpet I find the measuring goes way off.

I really like the Renpho ones. Connects to an app, gives graphs etc

Oh and obviously always weigh at the same time (like first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom). Our weight does fluctuate during the day.

I put my scales in exactly the same place every time or it differs too. I line them up against a tile in the bathroom.

I have these ones, as they have an app and it stores all the info for me and does a nice little graph.

Here's a screenshot from the app. It helps to remind me I'm going on the right direction, even though I keep bobbing up and down at the moment.
