Best apps for overeating/bingeing

Hi everyone. As we Scots would say, I am absolutely scunnered with myself at the moment. I'm overweight and feeling pretty ghastly. I have decided that tomorrow (Monday) is that day that I'm going to take back some control.
Due to the dysfunctional nature of my relationship with food, I'm thinking that an app might help me. I've never used one for weight loss before - also I'm not very techy - so I'm at a loss as to which one to pick. Cheap or free would be ideal, but I'll make an exception if there's one that's particularly good.
Your recommendations would be much appreciated Star

My fitness pal

Free and easy to use.

You can log meals and see nutrients and also weight tracking.

It also allows you to barcode scan food as well.

Good luck with the weight loss ConfusedSmile

I like nutracheck but I must admit I don’t really like the forum section and I end up bored and reading on there… hence rejoining mumsnet tonight!
I used some hypnotherapy for binge eating over the summer, just saw it on Facebook called ‘clear minds’ and it was really good, after a few sessions listening to it it curbed my overeating significantly.

Thanks to you both Smile
I don't think my post was very clear about what I was looking for! It's an app that helps with the psychology side of things, rather than a tracking app.
I'm sure I've seen Clear Minds on FB though, and it does look pretty good. So I'll probably give that a try.
Thanks again for your replies!

And actually, it doesn't necessarily have to be an app! Blush

Do you mean something you turn to when you might over eat? An app, pod cast or meditation maybe?

I don’t know of anything yet but maybe someone else will come along…
