Does anyone feel an unspoken pressure on themselves by themselves when they're losing weight ?

I've lost 3lbs in three weeks through calorie deficit with over 9 stones still to lose. I used the NHS bmi calculator which advised what my daily calorie range is. To lose weight, I should stay around the lower end of the range.

It's about now that I feel the pressure of success, however small, and start to undermine myself.

I'm aware that I do it. How do I stop so this self sabotage so my current weight loss diet doesn't crash and burn ?

Just keep remember why you’re trying to lose weight in the first place. With 9st to lose, you’ve got a long road ahead, so you really need to find a way of living, and way of eating, that you can keep up long term.
It’s ok to have ‘off’ days once in a while, but get straight back to it the next day, and don’t start the mentality of ‘well, I’ve messed up, that’s it, I’ve failed and might as well drown my sorrows in a tub of ice cream’. Just move on, remember your goal, and celebrate little milestones along the way. Every pound you lose is a success. Every time you exercise is doing something good for your body.

Good luck!
