So early days with my weight loss, I am exercising for an hour 3 times a week and walking everywhere as much as possible.

I am eating a healthy varied diet, reduced portion sizes.. no snacks for two weeks. I am gaining weight?! HOW? I want a healthier lifest

I am so frustrated, keen to hear other stories of people that have been in a simular situation. I going to continue because I do feel better but so p%£#÷=d off so far.

It sent before I had finished typing, I want a healthy lifestyle and I am not interested in crazy stupid diets. It's not sustainable

Exercise is great for health but does little for weight loss. You really need to be focusing on your diet, that's what will make the difference.

Also bare inmimd, when you start exercising you often gain water weight as your muscles adapt.

@Girlintheframe so continue and persevere for now and hope the water retention settles?

I am really on my diet, ie tune wrap and fruit for lunch. Wheetabix at breakfast and pasta salad for tea. Nothing creamy, processed, sugary etc.

Thank you

Yea I would carry on. Exercise is great for physical and mental health.

Have you worked out your TDEE? Once you know that I would track your calories and not eat back the exercise calories.
You don't have to do it for ever but it's a great way to learn about nutrition and gives you an idea of which foods will help with weight loss.

Lots of people like MFP or nutra check for tracking.

It really is trial and error to be honest. Find what foods fill and satisfy you, which ones increase your cravings. Treat it like an experiment.

Thank you for the advice

You are eating quite a lot of carbs. Maybe switch to Greek yoghurt and fruit for breakfast or eggs. And protein and veg in the evening.
