It's taken 11 weeks. I've reduced portion sizes, stopped snacking, quit aalcohol and prioritised protein at every meal. Also walked to work and back 4x a week, 4 x spinclasses a week and 2 x long hill climbing sessions on the treadmill per week.

How do I keep it off though?

We’ll done!!

I’d think about which part of your new routine you can maintain. Definitely contain portion sizes but is it a fasting day/window, maybe 2 spin classes a week plus walking, alcohol only 1 day a week etc.? Small things that make it routine for you but manageable.

Thanks! Not going to lie, it was a tough grind. But worth it.

I think balance is key going forward... and nit getting cocky thinking I can eat everything again

Woop!! Well done OP that's a really great achievement. Hope you're feeling very proud of yourself Smile

Relax one thing at a time??

So keep everything else but start to drop exercise OR introduce a bit of booze.

Then when that's shown itself after a month you can decide to keep relaxing / get tough again or stick.

Well Bloody Done! You worked very hard and got up off your arse and made it happen, be very very proud of yourself.

Thank you for the nice comments.

There really is no easy option. Exercise is hard, self control is hard. Not drinking wasn't hard but was a bit boring at first. I don't miss it now.

The hardest thing is to keep going before you see changes in your body and how slow those changes happen. But they do happen if you stick with it for a few weeks.
