I can't find a recent thread on this - but suddenly am seeing adverts for this program everywhere.

Anyone have any insights? Worth it? Quick guides? Better alternatives?

I need some inspiration and need to improve my physical fitness dramatically (losing weight also essential).

I need a guide to follow... but don't want to spend a fortune.

Well everyone can promise a six pack but the reality is, it's about losing enough fat to show it. Which is basic common sense. And most people have to be very very lean to show a six pack and are miserable pushing to that point

For women to have visible abs they have to have very, very low body fat, which is not a natural or especially healthy state for most women (there are of course exceptions). The only time I’ve been anywhere close to having a visible six pack was when I was underweight. The six pack looked good; the ‘lollipop head’ effect, not so much.

My friend did it. Like anything it works if you stick to it. And then when you stop everything goes back to how it was before.

Personally the weird diet and introducing foods at different times and stuff just sounded faddy to me.

Not encouraged by the fact it keeps talking about being extreme and it's only 9ish weeks- what happens after that?

I just fell down the rabbit hole and looked at the transformations page. Not a lot of six packs there, any that are are clearly sucking in, loads looked photoshopped and I don't think anybody looks happy.

Awww @Luckingfovely. 😕 Hope you didn’t find our responses harsh. But there really is no such thing as a quick and easy fix and I would hate to see someone parting with their money for something that is probably unlikely to work.

If you want to lose weight and get fitter it comes down to: making sure your diet is as good as possible (lots of things to consider: cutting down on treats, snacks, processed foods and alcohol; eating lots of veg, pulses, protein and carbs, especially brown/wholewheat carbs) and getting into some exercise, ideally a mix of cardio and weight training. You don’t have to change everything at once- make changes in stages so you can gradually adapt to your changing diet and activity levels. Good luck! 🙂

If you want a way to start your journey - what about trying 30 day shred Video. Can be bought online on Amazon prime. I bought it years ago and am back doing level 1 after a period of ill health. Or there a loads of free hit session on utube.
Consistency is the key to making change but it takes time. So set a goal that you will workout 20 mins a day 5 days a week rather than a results focused goal.

I started this programme in September 2020. The best thing I ever did. It maybe called the six pack revolution but its so much more then that - mindset and health. Its all about clean eating and no processed foods - you will never be hungary that is for sure. 3 meals 3 snacks a day ! Certainly not a fad - shows you how the body should be fed. Its a great community of like minded people getting involved with the challenges- signature programme is 2 challenges a week. What I love most as a busy mum - it can all be done from home so much easier with little ones. I've done it a couple of times and they teach you how to maintain which I have easily and enjoy my weekends. The transformations are mind blowing and defintely not photo shopped. Try it - what have you got to loose ? 75 days and you will see amazing results and your mindset will completley change. I have loved every momen

I exercise regularly with a good mix of cardio, weights, resistance, stretching etc and would be happy with a 2 pack! For me it's more about sustained toning and core strength than anything else - and also doing exercise I enjoy which tends to be classes to good music. Decent diet helps of course but I'm not going to deny myself what I enjoy 🍫🍷

I follow Caroline Girvan on YouTube after seeing her recommended on here several times. She is amazing for building strength in a very simple, beginner friendly way. I am still using light weights as I was a complete beginner however, in just a couple of months I have got visible biceps, an old shoulder injury/ posture has been massively improved and I am beginning to get a slight definition of my abs. I am still a bit overweight so a lot of my muscle is still hidden under a layer of fat. But I have never felt fitter or stronger and really enjoy her workouts

I’ve just been looking at the Six Pack Revolution after seeing Sarah Cox’s amazing results, but after going on Trust Pilot and reading the founders replies to some of the less favourable reviews I’ve been completely put off. The tone is really weird!
I think I’ll give it a miss. Shame because it looks good.

I started the six pack revolution after having my first little boy (now four years ago) and I just love it. The exercise is simple but progressive, the food is quick and tasty and I found it totally doable from home. There’s a lot of battle rope work which I found tough at first but it soon became much easier and was handy for always being accessible at home (mine was about £30?). I found the programme really good value for money and each week that passed I felt that more and more. In two waves I got fully back to my pre-pregnancy weight and I did actually regain 4 of my 6 abs 😂

Food wise I felt so great when on plan that I actually carried on throughout my pregnancy with my second babe and continued after him too. He’s now 20 months. So from a sustainability point of view (I do have good dedication to things generally anyway) but I find it very doable. Lots of things you can mass produce at the start of a week and my kids eat all my food prep too so I know they’re getting nutritious stuff 24/7.

You’ve absolutely got to do what works for you but as a mum of two and working teacher I can say that the support on the programme is amazing and now I know what I’m doing I find it dead easy and very habitual. I’ve not done the last couple of waves formally but I actually follow the same principles all the time in my day to day life and for me, it works 🥰

Do it. Its an amazing programme. I joined in 2018 after seeing one of my mates results. Hubby assumed photos were photoshopped and told me it would be a waste of time. I'm still sticking with it after 4.5 years. Mates who have followed it must run at about 100 + now. In fact our local rugby club nearly went bust as most of my mates are members and stopped drinking ale! It is 100% sustainable when you get to your target.
The negative reviews tend to be because there is no messing around - people don't get congratulated for having a cheat day and the plan is strict as at the end of the day its a very short time to get amazing results.
The xtreme programme is for those who don't have any fat to lose. It's called xtreme as the branding is SIX (signature intensive xtreme). When I signed up in 2018 there were just 2 levels - signature and next level then it was rebounded and a middle level was added for those with a bit of fat to lose and it alternates the workouts between the signature and the xtreme (which needs weights).
There 100% is no photoshop. If you send in a crap photo that's the one that will be templated. My mate never thought she would share on SM so took her photos in her bottom of the drawer knickers. The result was so good she chose to share it and really wished she had chosen better pants 🤣
I am in a triclub too and lots of people have done the xtreme level to complement their other training as it is mostly weight/strength workouts not cardio.
My kids eat adapted versions of the food. Eg the chicken madras I have with quinoa they have with rice. The food isn't faddy as someone said above. It is essentially protein carb healthy fat split as either 3 meals and 3 snacks or 2 meals 2 snacks and 2 shakes (which I do if I'm too busy at work to eat 3 hourly)

You don’t need to starve yourself to have a six pack. Plenty of very skinny people don’t have them.
My friend who does cross fit eats tons and has fantastic abs! Just a common misconception.

I’ve also just read some of the other comments so thought I’d also clarify… I LOVE food. I could never be arsed with any sort of starvation BS. I eat six meals a day and all of them contain protein and good fats for statiety. There are variations in menus through different parts of the programme a) for variety and b) to match the exercise output you’re doing so that your body is properly fuelled. Please don’t believe that eating less=weight loss. I’m a PE teacher so active by nature but I spend most of my time trying to educate teenagers on the fact that eating more nutrient dense foods is better than starvation. Ultimately, I would say to anyone who is critical, try it and see. Your understanding of health and nutrition will only become better. That’s not meant to sound patronising. But some of these comments are a bit ill informed. Food wise the concept is basically high protein, good carbs and good fats in every meal. Protein is fish, chicken, ostrich or veggie option and lots of Greek yog, berries, quinoa etc. Just clean and unprocessed. However, it is no booze!!! So if that’s a deal breaker then 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 But what I would say is that it’s very hard to be healthy and drink. As I’ve got older I’ve come to terms with sobriety for health a bit more. I’m now a very wise 35 year old 😆🤓

ive done this programme a few times and it literally gives you everything you need, they give you all the information you need and it becomes second nature and I lost weight with it, got in great shape and learnt much better eating habits. I actually made time for myself and it was something I did for me which I think was just as important as getting in shape and feeling healthy, I had so much energy I can see why people go back to it time and time again! Xx

I also think it is really good. Yes to what everyone says above about the food being really good, etc, but also the support you get on it is the best bit. I've always been active exercise wise but I still had some middle aged chub that wouldn't shift. Tried things like Noom that claim they give you 1-1 support but this is bollocks (or was when I did it). The 1-1 person would respond once per day and the whole thing felt like talking to a bot (ok Noom)
On this plan they put you in a Facebook group and will respond within minutes to anything you ask. If you need anything more they will get on a call and anything complicated the owner will answer you/speak to you.
I think the name of it and all the cheesy transformation photos are a bit misleading as it's very healthy and genuine.

Defo not a pyramid scheme as that involves recruiting people in to mini groups and sharing commission. You can only join via the website and there are no discounts or incentives for people joining or recruiting friends.
The Secret isn't my thing. I have a few friends who feel that it is predominantly a positivity message. But I also don't have a faith so maybe the whole universe and higher being thing is a none starter in our house. You can download it for free on an audible trial but don't forget to cancel your audible subscription after ! Or just don't bother. I never did!

I didnt read it either. I do like the inspirational quotes though and the pick the inspirational picture. For me I feel positive messages work better than always focusing on negatives. But again I guess if the quotes don't float your boat you can scroll down and just get involved with your group in other ways
