No more SW for me!

I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to lose a stone of baby weight for about 12 months… lose a few pounds, put it back on etc. I’ve mainly been following SW as I though it’s easier than counting calories etc but I’ve had enough! Am sick of ruining meals with crappy frylight and of doing rabbit pops! Not to mention feeling guilty for wanting some avocado with my salad. As if mo day I’m going to give SW the heave ho and have downloaded the Calorie Counter app. It’s saying I can have 1411 calories a day which sounds doable. Anyone fancy joining a fellow chub with a weekly weigh in?

Rabbit pops?? Poos! Are poos allowed on MN and why on earth isn’t there an edit button?!

Sounds a good plan! Best advice is to not set your calories too low. There are good tdee calculators online to help you work out a good deficit, for example I can have 1800 calories and loose 1lb per week, whereas my fitness Pal put me on 1400, less than I need to just survive! That would not have been sustainable for me!

Yeah, most regimes put you on 1200 cals (MFP). I am following the Beck diet that frowns on going lower than 1600. For calorie counting I am using MFP, but just adjusted my settings to 1600.

I’ve downloaded the Nutra Check app and it’s set my calories just over 1400 per day. I won’t stress if I go over that by 100/200 though. Day 2 done and am feeling good and not hungry. I like that I can eat anything!

Calculate your weight in pounds. Put a nought on the end of that figure and have that as your daily calories.

Adjust that number as your weight changes.
