Has anyone got or used a really great piece of home exercise equipment that really works. Can not get to the gym due to time constraints but am REALLY missing working out. Have two small DC so need something I can do when they are in bed. Thanks.

If you have already got a bike then you cn get rollers to put the bike onto - this way you can put it up in a spare room etc and take down when not in use (summer months)

This links to a page explaining how to ride rollers www.ehow.com/how_14201_ride-rollers-cycling.html

You can ride very fast like you would in a spinning class. They are about £60

Hi I should point out that this is actually SOH's husband posting. I'm a fitness instructor and in my professional opinion a Swiss Ball (or Pilates Ball) is one of the mos valuable pieces of kit in either the gym or the home. They're versatile, effective, cheap, easy to use and easy to store. You can get a decent one for around £15. They do come in different sizes so get one that fits.

Take some time, buy a book or DVD and learn how to use it properly and you'll have hours of fun rolling around your lounge.

And this is ShowOfHands. I nip off for a quick shower and my dh is dispensing advice on how to have fun rolling round your lounge.

Should I be worried?
