I feel really daft now.

I was the only one to post a result last week even though I don't have regular intrernet access now.

Where has everyone else gone?

My total for w/e friday 5th nov was 61079.

Surely someone can beat that.

Don't feel daft. It's great that you are continuing to walk/post. And that is a VERY respectable total. Well done!

As I've said before, I am finding it harder to walk significant distances when the weather is questionable. Also, I lose motivation a bit now that it's dark/damp/cold, so can once again "hide" in my big jumpers! Much easier to be committed when it's warm/sunny and we're all wearing alot less. I also think some people got de-motivated with pedometers breaking/not registering correctly. It's certainly been worth it for me to invest £14 in a good pedometer as I haven't had problems with it breaking, resetting itself, etc. Having said all that.....
My total for this week: 58,371

We can keep it each other motivated, and who knows - maybe some of the old crew will rejoin, or some new additions will come on board. By the way, I'm off to a good start for this next week as I've already walked 5,000 steps today, and are due to walk to see bonfire/fireworks tonight at a park that's quite a ways away. Hang in there, and keep posting!

Have no luck with pedometers regardless of price otherwise I would have joined in. If you're still motivated then keep it up!

Thanks for that girls.

I managed to do over 13,000 yesterday.

I put on my pedometer when I get dressed and feel lost without it if I forget. I have just got into the habit.

I don't set out to do lots of walking each day, but makes sure I count what I do. At the weekends I usually only manage about 4,000, sometimes less.

I also find that not being able to drive is a great help as I can't just jump in the car if it is raining. I just don't go out in the rain unless I really have to.

Well done. Although I don't use a pedometer I do consciously try and walk whenever I can. I'm a bit of a restless person anyway and do find it hard not to be doing something.

Do you find that you are more active now that you are actually measuring the steps?

Keep up the good work!
