Vlcd without meal replacements

Is anyone else replicating a vlcd but with food instead of the meal replacements?

I was doing exante and will probably go back on it, but my blood sugars were high so I wanted to bring them down and stabilise them first.

I'm weighing and counting everything and eating in an 8 hour window (12-8).

I normally have a salad at 12, either tuna mayo, ham
or ham & cheese, something small at 4, like chorizo, cheese and pickled pepper, occasionally a fibre one bar or the lowest cal/carb biscuits I've found, or a diet snack bar - but I'm trying to drop those out. I'm trying to only eat whole foods as much as possible. Most dinners are soup, I make a massive pot and it lasts the week, its chicken, mushroom, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach and beansprouts, along with all the herbs, spices and aromatics. Next week I might make a vegetable curry instead, I think this is my 4th week of soup. I'm not getting bored of it though, I add fresh mushroom, coriander and red chilli to it after I've heated it up.

Today I had:

Ham salad
A tablespoon of peanut butter
An apricot
And I'll have soup for dinner.

I just wondered whether anyone is doing this and wants to swap recipes and ideas etc, or a bit support.

In case anyone thinks its unhealthy, I actually had full bloods etc taken yesterday (as part of my yearly check up) and get the results on Thursday so I'll find out then if anything is off.
