Big/fat arms - seems to be a stone heavier

I want to lose about 10 kilos and feel all 10 kilos are on my upper arms! I know how to tone them up - but they are still big!!! I have never liked my upper arms even when I was slim but now I hate them!! Is this fat the last to go on my body? Thx

I’m the same! Awfully flabby arms even at relatively low body fat levels. Unfortunately it’s impossible to target specific areas for fat loss and if that’s where you are genetically Pre-disposed to store it there isn’t much you can do.

As my mum always says, you always lose in the places you don't want to first. The places you do want it to come off are always last! (Hello belly.)

My ancestors were all peasant farmers in the less glamorous parts of Russia. I have their beefy and competent upper arms by way of genetic legacy - I look like I could change a tractor tyre quite handily. I’m all ears if someone discovers a way of spot-reducing!

Haha maybe my ancestors were peasant farmers too!!

From here on in I am going to tell everyone I have Russian peasant farmer’s arms. I love that!

I'm another one with peasant farmer arms (Scottish/Irish/Scandi heritage though).

Even at a body fat percentage of 20, I look like a Russian shot putter. Sigh. It's the build unfortunately. I'm an inverted triangle so legs up to my armpits, no bum, 28" waist but arms and back like a prop forward.

I think the only solution is lipo sadly but I've heard that it comes back in other places if you gain weight ... and I like my puddings so dont want to end up with a fat neck or worse. Grin

Thank you for this great idea
I have clearly inherited my genes from a Clydesdale horse 🐴
