No carb and part breastfeeding

Posting for the first time and I haven't found anyone asking something like this so I hope you can help!

I'm partly breastfeeding. Mostly in the night and not during the day. Is it ok to follow a no carb diet?. I have done two days so far but some internet recourses worry me. I need to lose 10kg of baby weight and he is almost 7 months old.

There is a low carbing section www.mumsnet.com/Talk/low_carb_diets

I am sure they will be able to advise well. I never knew one could be NO carb, only low carb since carbs are in basically everything.

When you say no carb, do you mean eating only meat, fish, oil, eggs and some cheeses?
I am following a quite low carb diet. My only carbs come from vegetables, and I avoid very sweet ones such as carrots. I am breastfeeding a two-year-old and my milk supply is OK. I take a multivitamin and calcium.
Your baby is still very young and relies on your milk a lot. Don't do anything too extreme Smile

Thank you. Yes no carb meaning low carb. Oops. Cutting rice/bread and pasta out I feel it's basically no carb! 😂

Join BIWI’s current bootcamp (we’re on thread 3 atm).

You can go straight to what we call bootcamp light (we’re still on the strict first two weeks phase), and the rest of us will join you on Monday next week.

It’s brilliant, and there are lots of knowledgeable people to advise you.
