What do you have for breakfast when trying to lose weight?

I’m trying to lose some residual post-pregnancy weight and I’m a bit stuck on what to have for breakfast. I want to move away from cereals (convenient to eat with a baby around but not great) but I can’t have eggs (intolerance to yokes), I find porridge really blah and toast doesn’t really fill me up.

Any suggestions would be welcome as I’m really struggling. I’m currently at home on mat leave so I can do cooked breakfasts so they don’t need to be necessarily convenient/cold breakfasts.

Cerealkillers a friend of mine uses exactly the same recipe for banana pancakes and she has had great success mixing them in a nutribullet.

Many cultures eat the same sort of food for all meals, so it can be good to get away from the idea of certain foods only for breakfast. If you have time to cook, you could eat anything. Soup, salad, veg stir fry, small jacket potato, chicken skewer, ???

One spoon of granola, 2 spoons of Greek yog, a good amount of frozen blueberries.
Or
Half an avocado mashed on one slice of whole meal toast
Or
One slice of cheese on toast (easy on the cheese)

And maybe a satsuma or a sliced apple.

Nothing, I fast until lunch and it's working a treat. 10lb off in 4 weeks 😃

Anything with avocado, I also really like the sausage patties from tesco as they taste a bit like the ones in McDonald’s 😳 basically anything that isn’t too sugary. I try and wait until late morning but I remember the raging hunger after a night of frequent feeds so I wouldn’t have been able to do that before weaning!
