Hi, I wondered if anyone has had success at improving this area? I totally get you can't spot reduce or completely get rid of the 'mum apron' without surgery.
But I wondered if anyone has improved the look of a big tummy and maintained it with particular diet/exercise?

I’m an Apple shape so I typically hold on to my big tummy. It only vanished when I reached lower end of my BMI unfortunately. I don’t stick to a particular diet I just keep to a calorie target by logging everything on My Fitness Pal. That said I don’t eat pasta or rice really as I’m not a huge fan, only eat a small sandwich for lunch -no other bread at all. I’m not low carb as I do have a small jacket potato or a small sweet potato with dinner or even a small portion of oven chips. I do eat loads of chocolate, bananas & have crisps everyday so I couldn’t do low carb Blush

I went from pear to apple shaped when peri menopausal.
As PP said it's only when I'm low-mid BMI that my stomach looks ok.
I keep my weight down by low carb.

Grin I'm sure I knew this must be the answer! Was hoping not! But yes it seems starting lower end of bmi (which I'm not!) is the only way forward.
Might also try some core exercises as that will help my back as well as abdomen.
Thanks!
