So I've gone from 15'8 to 10'6 and I need to drop 6lb to get into the healthy bracket of bin but ideally I think a full stone but I just can't do it!!! How can I shift the last stone without a starvation diet? I'm getting really cross with my self but don't want to go into a silly diet anyone for any advice please?

Well done! You lost loads!!
The last bit is definitely the hardest and comes off much more slowly.
They say your body gets used to the amount of cals your in taking and your metabolism drops to meet it.
Have you tried calorie cycle? So you vary your intake each day so your metabolism does drop?

Ooh thanks I'll try that, as long as my brain doesn't see it as a free for all 😂

You’ve done brilliantly!!! Well done. My advice will depend on what you are doing currently. What WOE are you following?

Fooshufflewickjingleybells · 14/12/2020 14:04

Sorry what's woe?

Hi @Fooshufflewickjingleybells. I'm in a very similar position to you - gone from 15 stone at the start of lockdown to 10'7ish at the moment (I only weigh once a month, at the end of the month, trying not to get obsessed, so this isn't exact).

The last couple of months I've been trying 'maintenance fortnights' to try to get my mind and body used to a way of eating that I can sustain for the foreseeable future. One of the things I've learned from doing them is that I need rules between my 'strict weight loss' plan and a free-for-all eating whatever I like and want. It's been helpful to try out what rules will work for me and keep me within TDEE averaged over the week. The other thing it's done, and I think this is a bit like daily calorie cycling, is give my body a bit of a kick start when I go back to my weight loss plan from my maintenance fortnight.

That’s fantastic weight loss op! I’ve the last stone to go too and it’s tough going. I’ve stalled at this weight for about 3 months now (sometimes putting on 4/5lbs and then back down again but can’t get anymore off.

I think I need to revert back to my original woe which was here on the bootcamp. I hi Eric feel awful when I eat carbs heavily like I’ve been doing lately. I think I’ll take this week and a reset.

I’m doing Keto and have worked out that butter and cheese caused my stall. So I’ve made some switches and the scale moved down again.

Ah ok thanks I basically cut out a lot of processed crap and eat when I'm hungry I still have some processed stuff just only if I fancy it and a small amount of that makes sense?!?
