My casual dieting wasnt working very well so have joined up this evening. Am dismayed to find that I am 6lbs heavier on their scales than on my pal's Weightwater scales though

Jampot - I'm glad I'm not alone having self-control issues! The points plan is helping, though, because before WW I'd just hoover up too many cakes and feel guilty - now I hoover up the cakes and tot up the points, which reminds me in a helpful way how much I'm eating.

beowulf · 22/11/2007 09:47

Just done weigh-in and I lost 3lbs this week

Must be due to a growth-spurt in my bf 3-month old, as he put on 10oz this week too!

So that makes a total of 21lb since 27th September Just one more stone to go before I get to my goal.

I have been doing WW for a few weeks now, points though.

Have lost 11 lbs so far, but my problem is i have also just given up smoking (done 10 days no ciggies!) so i am struggling a little doing both, i have weigh in tonight and feel i will have put a bit on

dinny · 22/11/2007 18:37

hello, I lost only 1lb this week and am feeling a bit despondent.

so far, my weight loss has been

week 1 - 4lb
week 2 - 3.5lb
week 3 - 1lb

is this a good loss? do I need to do lots more exercise to keep it going?

dinny · 22/11/2007 18:38

well done on giving up smoking, Pucca

pucca · 22/11/2007 20:02

Thanks Dinny, i had actually lost 1lb, which i am pretty pleased with, was sure i would have gained this week.

pucca · 22/11/2007 20:04

Forgot to add, yes will help to start exercise.

I know with me, my eating habits were so bad that the change in diet made quite a dent in my weight, but now my body is actually used to eating healthily i need to start the exercising really.

Dinny that is a good weight loss, 1 lb is still a LOSS, it is reccommended that 1.5 - 2 lb a week is the most healthy, but 1 lb is still good.

dinny · 22/11/2007 20:20

actually, yes, when I started I thought to myself "after the initial fast weightloss at first I must start doing more"

have just subscribed to www.fitbug.com have you heard of it?

dinny · 22/11/2007 20:20

and well done on your 1lb off!

chocolatespiders · 23/11/2007 16:27

bigknickersbigknockers · 06/12/2007 13:56

got weighed on Mon day and lost another pound, 10.5 lbs in total. so far its been easy but no doubt it will get mor difficult as the weight loss slows down. Just the thought of weighing in on Monday mornings is keeping me on track.

suzywong · 06/12/2007 14:01

checking in to say hello
i lost 3 kilos in 6 weeks and then put on 400g this week so I am consoling my self with cheese

back on track tomorrow.

will read this thread later and be useful and supportive and not just use it to try and get attention for myself

OhLITTLEFISHofBethlehem · 06/12/2007 17:48

Hello, hello!

I have lost 9.5lbs in my first two weeks on WW. However, I have about 6 stone to lose, so it was bound to come off quite quickly at first.

Suzywong - put the cheese down! You know it won't help, and you'll just feel worse.

I'm weighing in tonight so I'll be back later. I've been snacking really badly this week, and out to dinner twice, so I don't expect to have lost anything. Just hope I haven't put on.

bigknickersbigknockers · 17/12/2007 18:28

Well ladies, thought I'd pop in and tell you I got weighed in at WW today and lost 2 lbs this week which is a total of................

1 STONE

I am really pleased. My jeans are really baggy so have rooted through the wardrobe and dragged out an old pair of jeans a size smaller.

Keep going ladies We can do this

CarmenerryChristmas · 18/12/2007 21:44

Suzywong WTF are you?? I NEVER see you on msm anymore and I miss you

I lost 4lbs this week, well ok it was over the past two weeks but still I tend to go to ww every two weeks and it is more satisfying. I am finding it really easy these days, I swear I am just more active since I've lost 24lbs(since I began in June) and that is allowing me to lose more weight because running around is easier iyswim.

OhLITTLEFISHofBethlehem · 21/12/2007 16:03

Wow Carmenerry and Bignickers - congratulations on your losses!

I've now lost 13.5 lbs in 6 weeks which I'm really, really pleased with.

Jampot · 22/12/2007 21:04

ooh i forgot about this thread. Ive now lost 17lbs which im pleased with. Just another stack to go.....

Hello everyone, can I resussitate this thread. I joined WW last week after last attending about five years ago I can believe what a great plan it is. I am following the core plan and the food is fab and no weighing. How is everyone doing?
