Meal plans

I’m wondering if anyone has any meal plans they are happy to share? I’m seriously over weight and really need some motivation. I’ve done SW and WW before but think I really just need to eat healthily but without a plan I just slip off the wagon/run out of motivation.

Thanks everyone x

This is mine. I am doing a quite strict paleo diet at the moment (whole30) and I've planned these meals using a keto-diet recipe book (with a few modifications). This week I'm doing a Filipino chicken thighs dish, a lamb meatballs tagine with eggs cooked in the sauce, a Greek stifado casserole, a chicken curry with a homemade curry sauce, steak and salad, and tinfoil steamed fish and veg.

Where it says 'freezer meal' that is a frozen portion of a leftover meal (so eg Chili or casserole or whatever) and I batch cook a lot so have a few of these in the freezer!

I've got pumpkin soup in the freezer for a few lunches this week. The other days I will have eggs, tinned fish and salad.

For breakfasts I either eat hard boiled eggs, or make a chia seed pot with nuts, raisins, almond milk etc.

I put my workouts/exercise on my meal plan so I know whether I'm out in the evening or not

Thanks @thenewaveragebear1983 - I think I also need to be more organised about having freezer meals or healthy snacks so that I don't loose the good intentions. Thanks for sharing.

@Bayleaf25 I use the plastic tubs like takeaway tubs, they are about £5 for 15 in Asda/B&m type shops. Then I just portion out 1 or 2 every time I cook a meal. If I'm doing a roast dinner I cook double amounts of veg and do 2 chickens, then portion out several meals. Or do extra mash with a roast and then do cottage pie and fish pies straight into the trays and top with mash and freeze. Write on top with a sharpie and you're good to go. They are a godsend if you're busy and tend to grab convenient freezer junk rather than cook!

The other thing I do is plan all my meals not just dinners, because I actually find it's lunches that catch me out. I end up just having eggs or salad so I plan exactly what I'm having.

If I do a full 7 day shop I freeze a lot of the fresh ingredients so it lasts the week as well, and then take out what I want for tomorrow the night before. It means I stick to my plan better because there's only 1 thing in the fridge!
