Hi all so I'm looking at losing between 3 and 5 stone by begging of next year, I've taken up walking again as I love it but I am also wanting to start running/jogging I'll be incredibly slow and probably sound like a steam roller coming up the hill but I want to shift this weight, my issue is I have a very obvious little muffin top/apron belly and when I run I find that it along with my bum and boobs, move about a bit kore then I'd like, i recently invested in some lovely new sorts bras great!!! But am yet to find anything leggings or knickers wise that will gold in my tummy to allow me to comfortable run without being as self conscious, can anyone suggest anything that they've used? Or any sports wear that they have got that works well??
I'm a size 22-24 but mainly 22 my boobs make me the 24 lol 😂
Thanks in advance ladies xx

Some of the Decathlon range goes up to 20/22, and it's excellent VFM (the tights/capris don't go see through, have pockets and drawstrings)

These are more expensive, but it's an ethical brand and everything goes up to a size 26

Lucy Locket Loves go up to a size 26 and are supportive and comfortable.

Rainbows and sprinkles leggings. Funky prints and squat proof with a little zippy pocket for your key

Anywhere - next, Nike, fabletics, decathlon. They're all good

I got some good leggings and t-shirts from Simply Be. All breathable fabrics, not too flashy...I wear them to go cycling, which is a new hobby. I'm the same as you, I'm looking to lose five or six stone. Good luck!

Queenie ke leggings with the high waist hold everything in and don't roll down over your stomach they are about £20 on amazon

StanfordPines · 23/09/2020 20:23

M and S Goodmove running stuff goes up to size 24.
I’ve got some of their running leggings and the are really quality.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/09/2020 20:27

Luesque - its a small local business to me but really good quality and goes up to 24, they also do really comfortable leggings

Ulelia · 23/09/2020 20:27

I've got a pouchy belly and I've given up on any leggings without a drawstring. High waist, control, whatever the boast, they just don't stay up on me if I can't haul it up over my belly and then tie it tight Wink
With a drawstring, then cheap as chips for me, so decathlon is fine.

My top tip is get some proper underwear for running, I love runderwear, although expensive. They help with chafing, though, so worth their weight in gold!

@Ulelia

Running underwear?! I'm sold.

Hi,
Please can anyone recommend a make of really good shape pants. I need sturdy scaffolding. I need them to pull my monstonrous gut in. I have been looking at Kim Kardashian skims online. I live in the UK but am so desperate I am willing to pay the shipping from the US. I've let myself go over lockdown. And have started a diet but now having to socialise in public at uni and feel like an absolute beast. Bit like the fat controller from Thomas the tank. Any recommendations would be very welcome please. And if I can order them for next day delivery all the better!smile

I have sainsburys and M&S sports leggings which are both good and go up to 22, neither fall down.

H&M and Sainsbury's do sports bras up to xxxl.

Then I just wear a T-shirt or hoodie dependant on weather and where I am.

I'm doing c25K slowwwwwlllly, but getting there. Don't spend too much on any leggings at this point as they need to be snug to stay up so you'll be looking to replace as soon as you drop a size, although M&S ones many have a drawstring inside the waist and so you can tighten them a little.
