Wanting to lose some baby weight but struggling with willpower and I find I'm better suited to a plan as otherwise I don't tend to stick to it. Has anyone had a good experience with Herbalife and managed to keep the weight off? Thanks

Overpriced protein powder. Just buy one from the supermarket if you want to do shakes.

Herbalife is a MLM and offers nothing

It's snake oil. Any MLM is.

Don't waste your money.

A family member used Herbalife. They lost a load of weight while using it but has put all the weight back on and more. I had never heard of it before that, they did try and sell it to me so I googled, discovered it is a big scam and didn't bother. They lost a load of weight as they were living on salad and steamed protein and veg and walking. When they lost interest and started eating junk and fried food again they gained weight.

I am losing weight naturally be doing 16:8, less junk food and walking more. I have also started cooking fakeaways, today I am making a lamb bhuna in the slow cooker. It is costing approx €15 but that is far cheaper and healthier than getting a takeaway tonight for the whole family.

Thanks all. I'll perhaps give Herbalife a miss then and look at other options :-)

Herbalife ins't a 'scam' as such but it is an expensive way to buy protein powder (and the other items they try to sell you for 'health') . It is a MLM though.

You can follow a sensible diet - track your calories on MyfitnessPal or whatever.

If you want a shake for breakfast then buy a regular protein powder - I have one most days as aim for high protein intake, I get mine from The Protein Works. Mix with water, add some fruit and/or veg such as spinach. Lush and not quite as processed as some ready made shakes.

Protein powder can really help to fill you up and I don’t use it for shakes but overnight oat recipes or in pancakes. I wouldn’t use Herbalife but I do take Wilkinson’s multivitamins if that counts 😀

Upping steps is also amazing as you burn so many more calories if you have been doing less than 5000 steps and go to 15000 steps.
