Wheat belly peanut butter cups are working for me. I've been sugar and grain free for 2 weeks and lost 6lb. Made the peanut butter cups with Montezuma 100% chocolate, melted coconut oil and a teaspoon of peanut butter in the middle. Did put stevia in the the choc/oil mix but they are a bit sweet, going to miss that out next time.

I go for fruit ,seasonal is best, maybe an apple with a couple of figs, dates and nuts, some walnuts , hazelnuts etc. I find that I don't crave chox if I have fruit. Also even dried fruit doesn' t make one's blood sugar go up as fast as normal sugar or sweeteners.

They tested date sugar on the telly a week or so ago. BUT coconut sugar is worse than normal sugar Shock

I'm a bit confused here. What is sugar free about a date? They are absolutely packed with sugar. More so than most other fruits.

All organic fruit (including dates) have NATURAL sugar. which also has minerals, fibre and lots of vitamins. It is not processed like sweeteners and other normal white\brown sugars. Fruit of course tastes sweet but it's fine, I love figs too. They keep me going ! Combining them with seeds and nuts helps to keep sugar levels down too.

There is a right way to eat fruit though ;for weight loss and health. It's best to eat it on an empty stomach ,for breakfast or a snack.

Not for dessert , not after a meal which just leaves the fruit rotting in the gut, giving out acidic toxins (leading to belly ache, wind, reflux and arthritic joints)

That's because most fruit is semi digested and passes through the digestive tract much more quickly than a normal starch \protein meal. (apart from bananas!).
