Help, getting demoralised

I just can't seem to lose any weight. I'm overweight I need to be 75kilos to be healthy. I started at 88kilo in December, got down to 84kilo at the start of march and ever since i'm swinging between 86 and 84.5. Also I'm not losing inches around my stomach or thighs.

I'm going to three intense fitness classes a week
I have one Personal Trainer session a week
two Yoga classes
and I do weights with a friend once a week

Breakfast is something like rye bread with cold meat or peanut butter (100% peanuts no sugar)
Lunch soup with a small piece of rye bread or a wrap if i'm on the road.
Dinner vegetables and meat or fish (no potatoes)

If i snack its on a banana, strawberries, nuts, piece of dried fruit or occasionally all bran with yogurt if I have a late class (which means I have a late dinner).

I only drink water, tea and coffee (No sugar, only milk in one coffee on weekends), occasionally some orange juice.

I know i'm probable still eating a bit too much carbs but I cant think of anything else to eat that will not leave me starving all day and dizzy during workouts.

I try to not have too much dairy because it makes my skin break out. I don't like any dairy substitute (and I have tried then all). I don't like eggs and I'm slowly getting sick and tired of avocado.

I just don't know what else to do. I keep slowly going down to 84 kilos and then I do one thing like go out of a meal or for a few drinks with friends and I will gain 2 kilos overnight and that will take at least two to three weeks to get off again.

I'm afraid of going on a full blown diet because when ever I have done that in the past I would lose the weigh but after I finish the diet it would all come back on again and double what I lost. So I need a lifestyle I can keep too.

Stop weighing yourself after a night out 😂 never do that.

Your weight fluctuates anyway (as I'm sure you know) with water retention and time of the month so it's best to weigh yourself like once every 2 weeks or 4 weeks.

Try upping the weights sessions. Building muscle burns alot more calories during and after your session has finished. It is highly effective for weight loss.

There doesn't seem to be alot of protein in your daily intake. Try upping that. Protein powder in porridge is good, loads of companies do different flavours. I had a lovely vanilla and raspberry one this morning. Yum.

Fish, chicken, quinoa, Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese - great sources of protein.

Also, pop your stats into a calorie calculator and see how much you should be consuming. Your intake seems a little on the low side especially if you are exercising that much.

And finally, lots and lots of water - so essential to losing. Like I'm talking 10 glasses a day (200ml glasses).

Alternatively, you could try 16:8 fasting? See if it works for you?

Not all of the above will work for you. It's totally dependent on how your body responds. Try not to worry so much. Weigh yourself again in 4 weeks and see how it goes. Go out and live your life, most definitely, and try not to worry. You might have just hit a plateau and need to push through it.

Keep going OP. You can do it!

Are you counting calories? It may be worth doing that for a week or so, to see if you’re creating a big enough calorie deficit.

The NHS recommends aiming for around 1400 kcals, if you’re overweight. I’ve been following that recommendation since January and have lost almost 3 stone that way. But, it’s not been a steady drop at all. There have been long periods when nothing changes.

Oh, and stay away from the booze! I know it’s easier said then done, but in my experience alcohol seriously undermines weightloss.

Good luck!
