How to stop the cravings!

I've been cutting back the past 2-3 weeks using my fitness pal. It's really helped me to reduce my portions while eating a good range of foods with some small treats during the day.

My problem is I'm struggling with evening cravings! I end up snacking when I'm not even hungry!

Thankfully the weight is still coming off as I really do stick to it the rest of the time, but 2-3 nights a week I keep blowing it entirely.

I'm losing 1-1.5 lbs per week but I know it'd be more if I wouldn't have these binges!

Does anyone have any tips to kick that last craving?

Clean your teeth
Have an eating window (no food after X time)
Throw all inappropriate snacks away (this is what I’ve had to do)
I used to get DH to ration me two squares of choc a day which I would save until after dinner and he would hide the bar.
For me tho the only way to diminish cravings significantly is to stop eating the offending product, the one you’re addicted to. In my case that is sugar and starch. I’ve not had sugar or starchy carbs since NYE. I do miss chocolate but the cravings have really lessened. I’m hoping to reintroduce a small amount of quality chocolate at some point or at least to see if I can handle it

I try and drink some water to trick my stomach and mind that I have eaten.

Are you allowing yourself a small snack in the evening?

I think it’s really hard when you use all your calories during the day and have nothing left for the evening.

I find that having a small snack to look forward to really helps me to not go too crazy. I try to have it as late as possible, which also seems to help.
