I am an okay weight, size 12, tall but a bit chubby in dodgy areas and I am fully aware that it's because I snack on food like chocolate, cakes, pastas etc.

I don't know how to stop, does anyone have any tips or is anyone in the same boat?! I'm such a picker of literally any food, I can't help myself. I also hate my weight so I don't know why I do this to myself

I'm posting because you haven't been answered! I know what its like, I do have an answer, it's Paul Mackenna who addresses all your problems, mainly by making us eat SLOWLY, really tasting the food (when I do this I find it's impossible to enjoy high sugar foods). I'm cutting right down now, after Xmas. It's best to get rid of the high sugar and high wheat foods altogether!!

I blame the manufacturers, almost ALL the bought Xmas food is stuffed with sugar and wheat Grin

Join the gym and stop eating shit ! Go our buy some healthy snacks and start eating meals ...
I'm not being harsh but it really is as simple as that !

Once you get you're head round it, not just your weight but your mind will fell better.

Ps in saying this I've only just started and out a stone on over Xmas but you've got to start to be in the game !

God knows I'm the same! Total greedy pig!!

I used to be the same (well I still am sometimes) - the thing that worked for me was writing down everything I ate, no matter how small, before I put it in my mouth. Download the app myfitnesspal (other calorie counting apps are available!) and buy a small food scale. I find that that extra few slices of toast at night, or second helping of dinner is much less appealing when you realise how much it adds to your daily calories.

You don't even need to have a daily calorie goal if you don't want to, just being aware of how different food options stack up again each other means I make healthy choices automatically.

I read the other day that something really small - like, 4 olives a day - can add up to an extra 10+ kg over the course of a decade. I’m 5:2ing and it’s made me mindful of everything I put in my mouth.

I'm dancing between meals which really gets those calories burning! You don't have to run miles!
