Is anyone else like me - can overeat healthy cereal?

Moral support really. I brought some seeded tubs of porrige ingredients whole grain porridge, skimmed milk powder and seeds. No sugar. After one pot I wanted another. It’s really frustarting I have constant urge to keep eating where others would stop.

My husband says he would understand it if it were cake - big honestly it’s anything healthy cereal of all things.

I don’t know why but nice to know I’m not alone and would be good to have someone who can emphathise. Previously posted and someone else suggested low carb, but I’m. Worried I just have a huge appetite.

Hi bumsquash Grin have you managed to maintain this and yep, just like you I could live off bread and any cereal. I was once sent off to uni with a pack of special k and ate it in one day. Have you lost weight on low carb (if that was your intention) and what do you eat???

I have maintained it, DH has lost 3 stone and I've lost a lot less but have lost inches. It's handy that I like savoury food so now eat high fats like bacon, eggs and butter on Keto rolls.

I take 1 portion of carbs a day (oats or brown rice) as I struggle with over eating carbs otherwise. I swap Things like butternut squash or swede for potato and have my chilli with vegetables. I find this keeps me more full and I suffer fewer cravings.

When I was younger I ate carbs at most meals and seemed to do ok on it but as I got older and lazier it didn't suit any more and I ended up fat. I lost 3.5 stone and I've kept it off for nearly 2 years and have a healthy BMI now.

As a side affect I get fewer migraines now too

Read Diet Doctor website. You might find the science and health benefits informative. Glad to hear that your gynacologist suggested low carb - posterson the low carb theeads report hormonal, and PCOS improvements. I experienced easy periods once I went low carb.
