I've had a c section --four fucking years ago

I've always had the apron of fat. Since I was in primary school

I can lose lbs here and there

But realistically is a tummy tuck and lipo the only thing that's gonna remove the apron?

I actually feel like taking a knife and cutting it off myself

I'm nearly thirty and I cry most days

Oh love, you look normal and lovely. You look like any person who's had a C section.

GuavaPalava · 15/09/2018 10:30

This clearly isn't about your stomach. Have you considered looking into seeing a doctor to get to the bottom of it all? Maybe some form of counselling may help

WhatIsThisTomfoolery · 15/09/2018 10:30

Exercises will improve that area. Could you see a personal trainer for some advice?

BingsAWanker · 15/09/2018 10:31

My belly button gets sore because I'm all scrunched up when I sit

I've taken to wearing a shapeless sports bra thing because no matter what size of back I wear, back fat spills over

I don't want a six pack, just to be able to throw on clothes and be comfortable

Have you tried any exercise to help tone that area? It doesnf look beyond help at all and isn’t that bad! I think some core toning exercises would really help, plus general cardio for fat burning - then you’ll have a better idea of what you are dealing with

Fairylea · 15/09/2018 10:39

My stomach looks exactly like that. I’ve had a c section too. I’m ten years older than you. I don’t know if this will help but I’ve really had to change my mindset about my body. Sure it doesn’t look like it did before I had children but then I’m not 21 anymore either. I can however embrace the bits of myself I do like and work to tone myself up so I feel better in my clothes. I started to do dance cardio 4 times a week and it is changing the way I feel and my mental health about it all is better too - and this is someone who had NEVER set foot in a gym before last year.

You’re being very hard on yourself. Your body is amazing.

BingsAWanker · 15/09/2018 10:46

Before I had DS I was a three times a week spin attender

Still had the apron when I was eight stone

Mum has the same body shape, I'm considering surgery

I've a wee section bulge but that honestly doesn't bother me half as much as the actual big thing of flab. I'll try a sitting down photo

Not saying it’s a weight issue, but a toning issue. I’d get a consult from a PT.
Have you the cash for surgery at the moment? Not sure if you would need a tuck, think lipo would do it.

BingsAWankerSoHeIs · 15/09/2018 10:59

Sorry I tried to NC to post another photo but it wouldn't let me post

Yeah I can afford it. Slightly worried about the actual surgery in terms of it not being strictly necessary..dying on the table with a small DC at home thing for being vain

I can lose weight quite easily..I'm just a smaller version of the same shape 😐

God you look good!! Your body did an amazing thing.
