I'm going to lose weight.

Join me starting from tomorrow.

Well done @missk - you have done great!! Keep it up. Well done @chub for resisting the bickies!!! Did a run this evening or waddle to be more accurate. I was beetroot after it but delighted I did it. Slowly but surely we will get there. I mark off each day on the diary on this new regime!! 3 days done 😂😂 long way to go. Would love to go to end of October losing a pound a week. Good luck everyone 🌈🌈

Howareya123 · 08/07/2018 22:12

Day 1 done!!! Phew!! Snap on the fairy cakes ethiopianflower!!

DaisyChops · 08/07/2018 23:05

Well done everyone, I cannot believe those who baked and then never ate any cakes...that is serious dedication!
I'll make you all feel really good now....I had a Big Mac meal for tea 🙈 it was a bit like the last supper though, I've stocked up on SW burgers and sausages ready for the weigh in tomorrow morning!

chubchubchub · 09/07/2018 08:50

Good morning everyone.

Right my scales have been fitted with a shiny new battery. Am about to have a shower and get on those scales.

Shall report back.

I'm frightened.

OP posts:
Rufustheyawningreindeer · 09/07/2018 08:53

Be brave chub the numbers on the scale will drop

When i started reweighing i changed the scales to pounds so i could still see the numbers go down and i knew vaguely what i was but i wasnt sure unless I actually worked it out

I weigh on a Saturday so i will leave it til then...but the last time i weighed was two weeks ago and i was 14 stone! The heaviest i have ever been...even pregnant!

chubchubchub · 09/07/2018 10:05

I am 11 stone. To be honest I thought I would weigh more like 11.5 stone so I am grateful.

OP posts:
Ethiopianflower · 09/07/2018 11:02

Well done chub - good for you!! Hope it motivates you. I took to the scales this morning and am 12stone. The only way is down 🎼😂 I hope!!

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 09/07/2018 11:08

Well that must be a bit of a relief chub Grin

I did weigh this morning as i thought I ought in case i was heavier than 14 stone and worked hard this week and then it appeared that there wasnt a loss

So 13 stone 11

Just put my breakfast cafe au lait on MFP

DaisyChops · 09/07/2018 11:48

Well done chubs and rufus, that's a good start!

I weighed myself this morning, 11st 8.5lb, I'm using the food tracker on the Fitbit app this time round and trying to do a little bit of exercise every day. I've got a cross trainer at home so no excuse whatsoever...apart from the fact it's used a clothes horse!

itsBritneyBeach · 09/07/2018 12:16

Here's to starting a good week everyone! We can do this

itsBritneyBeach · 09/07/2018 12:20

Also, if you notice me go quiet on here, please please please mention the fuck out of me and reign me back in. I can't afford to start again in a few months, I need to make these changes now!BlushGrin

Scuzzlebutt · 09/07/2018 12:41

Hello, I would love to say the extra 4ish stone I'm packing is baby weight. Thing is, my youngest 'baby' is now 4.5 and I can't fit into my pregnancy clothes 😱 Can I join please?

itsBritneyBeach · 09/07/2018 13:08

@Scuzzlebutt hello! Join us on our journey in becoming less fat Grin

Ethiopianflower · 09/07/2018 17:14

We can do this!!!! I am aiming to go for a jog every day even if just a short one - hard to do with the kids. Encourages me when I log it into MFP as it ups total. Reckon I will never want to see another leaf of lettuce at the end of all this.

Howareya123 · 09/07/2018 17:21

Well done on the weigh ins everyone! I agree with @itsbritneybeach.. if I go quiet I need reigning back in😀!! Would love to join in the running but think I'll start with a good speed walk first!!

timetogetridofitall · 09/07/2018 17:36

Ooh, can I join in too please?!

I'm 5 foot 7 and a bit, and currently 13st 8. Ideally I'd like to get back to around 11st, so two and a half to lose.

Really needing the motivation to stop eating rubbish, and hopefully this will be it Smile

chubchubchub · 09/07/2018 22:33

Well that's day two done! Grin

OP posts:
chubchubchub · 10/07/2018 10:10

Morning and welcome newbies.

How's everyone feeling today? I have a massive headache from sugar withdrawal and not feeling so great.

OP posts:
DaisyChops · 10/07/2018 10:47

Ah those headaches are the worst Chubs!

I'm only on day 2 so feeling ok and as I've done SW most recently I always saved my syns for chocolate so I will have a Freddo or fudge at the end of the day as a reward! Thinking back, I never got the headaches with SW like I did with the 5:2.

DH birthday tomorrow and making a chocolate cake,I have downgraded it to a normal cake rather than 2 tiers 😂

Ethiopianflower · 10/07/2018 10:57

Well done. Take each day as an achievement - that’s the way i am looking at it. Never eaten many bananas 🍌 as I have in the last few days. I miss cheese and onion crisps

Howareya123 · 10/07/2018 11:26

I went out for lunch yesterday and chose wisely and was the only person to not get dessert!!! It's sad when that is actually an achievement! My sweet tooth is my downfall🙄

itsBritneyBeach · 10/07/2018 11:51

I had a bit of a naughty Nando's but didn't have a dessert when everyone else did so I'm counting it as a win Grin

I think my issue is moderation and portion control, as I tend to think oh I've had one unhealthy thing, so fuck it, I'll eat a whole block of halloumiGrin

Howareya123 · 10/07/2018 21:27

There's Jammie Dodgers on my kitchen counter and I'm finding it REALLY difficult to ignore them Blush Good day besides that (though thed day isnt over yetConfused)

itsBritneyBeach · 10/07/2018 21:42

Ignore them!! One biscuit is 85 calories, and if you're like me, at least 4 are needed to satisfy!

Howareya123 · 10/07/2018 21:50

I know you're right!! I ate an apple insteadGrin
