Unhealthy Relationship with food and my body

I’m a serial yo-yo dieter. Over the years I have lost 3 stone on Dukan and then steadily regained it all, slimming world - I have no control and thought ‘unlimited’ pasta was great! Didn’t lose much. Atkins/Keto diets I can do well for a while, and then get bored and the secret binging takes place again and again before I give up altogether.

I work full time and have a toddler. I need something simple that I can work into my life and stick to, with a view to re-wire my brain eventually and break the cycle. I’m a crap cook, and time is limited. Through low carb diets, I tend to view carbs as the most awful thing I can eat, but find it very very difficult to maintain long term so perhaps I should move away from that and try something more balanced.

If any of this made sense I’d welcome any advice, currently 4stone overweight Sad . I’m probably asking for a miracle here!

It seems you are hoping each new diet will change your life forever, it wont, i would go back to basics and work out how many calories you actually need to eat in a day then work out your own eating plan that works for you!
I wouldnt completely cut out foods you enjoy but work them into your eating plan so you dont think about them all the time.
If you have four stone to lose you should look at it as finally changing the way you eat for life, if you restrict foods you enjoy too much it will never last because in your mind once you get to your “goal weight” you will go back to your old habits!
You can learn to cook, and enjoy foods you maybe haven’t cooked before, try new things, dont be stuck in a rut of eating the same things that you know keep you overweight!
The freedom of being slim and healthy far outweighs the feeling of being trapped in yoyo dieting that makes you feel like a failure!
Get some healthy cook books or search online, buy different foods, do it today and dont look back!
