hi there

considering doing a quick burst of shakes / meal replacement to overcome my inflated appetite

i know they're not ideal / not good for you, and i'm actually ok at eating healthy but post-baby i've managed to overeat so much i'm really struggling to reduce the amount i eat, so i'm failing to get my weight back under control

could anyone please give me any recommendations or watch-outs for the various options out there?

i've had one recommendation for exante so far.

thanks in advance.

Kellycwp I disagree. I followed the Cambridge plan and on day 5 ended up having a seizure and ended up in hospital. I followed it to a t drank all my water etc. It caused me to be deficiant in magnesium, sodium and electrolytes needed for vital body functioning. Very very dangerous. I’m lucky my dp was at home. I had no previous health issues, in my 30s and have got about 1.5 stone to lose. I felt like such an idiot telling the doctors that i went on a low calorie diet of 600 cals a day. The minimum needed for brain functioning!! Don’t do it. Do a low carb, high protein diet full of fruit and veg.

To add I was in hospital for a full 24 hour hours and on drips to get my vital levels back up. Never again. All because I wasn’t to lose weight and this plan sounded amazing. Luckily I’m here to tell the tale.

Well I'm glad you're ok. It obviously didn't suit your body for whatever reason.
I have never heard of anything like that happening to anyone.
Doctors are starting to recommend it now after recent 'direct' trials proved that it can completely reverse type 2 diabetes 👍🏼

Never do low carbs and high protein it's not good for you long term and even short term and as you have experienced dangerous

My method is eating approx 1200 to 2500 calories maximum with excerice and you will be full firstly and get to eat what you like plus you will loose weight

All my clients follow my food and excercice plan and they always loose weight and love the food
You have to enjoy what you eat then only you can stick to eat

600 calories a day is not healthy

For e.g My most recent client still eats McDonald's on my diet as she work for them and lunch time wants to eat it as it's free lunch for her and she still looses weight with my

The most important thing is burn off what you eat and a little extra

I'm 5 days into Protein World Slender Plan and I'm 5lbs lighter Smile

I don't feel hungry and they taste delicious.

Right. I started Monday morning.
First day was fine, 2 smoothies and one low carb meal. One small snack.

Day two I have been flipping ravenous! But no major issues.

Seem to have lost about 2lbs already in 48 hours, but to be fair I was pigging out this weekend. And you can probably lose that doing a big poo Grin
