Does anyone know how to find a Forever Living distributor? Can't seem to find any online. Or is anyone here one? Home Counties based?

What magical properties do you believe that Forever Living products have that can't be found in something cheaper or real food?

It's a pyramid selling scam. AVOID.

Ha ha, you can’t find a single FL rep in the Home Counties? There are three #bossbabes in my bloody street alone...

If this is about C9 you could basically try not eating any food at all for nine days and drinking some magic water straight from the tap. You’ll lose a stone. It’s not the starvation that helps you lose weight, it’s the magic water, obviously.

Total waste of money. It’s a dodgy pyramid scheme that encourages its reps to spout a load of pseudo scientific mumbo-jumbo and has got in quite a lot of trouble with regulators for this.

If you want to lose weight just go for a sensible balance of exercise and healthy eating, don’t throw money at over priced pointless gloop. The only thing you will lighten is your wallet

Janice I'm not sure what to recommend for your rash of #bossbabes, never heard of those, is that the people who sell it? Perhaps they have a cream for the affliction

A bit out of left field but I swear by their aloe shampoo and conditioner and have used it for years, It's great for psoriasis. Wouldn't use any other products after sampling though!

Thanks blue sheep - I was recommended the aloe gel for very reactive skin. Wasn't anticipating quite this reaction but it is obviously not a mn favourite!

Pop over to ‘money matters’ to see what utter bollocks Forever Living is. Aloe Vera gel has some evidence for topical application but it doesn’t ‘help with cancer’ as I’ve seen one FL ‘independent business owner’ claim. AV gel can be bought a lot cheaper elsewhere. Please don’t give your money to this pyramid scheme. Product based pyramid schemes (MLMs) do so much financial and social harm not to mention their illegal medical claims. Why they’re still allowed to trade in the UK I’ll never understand!

Buy yourself an Aloe Vera plant and get it straight from the leaf.

That aloe hand cream is the only thing that controls my husband's (extremely bad) eczema!! Other than steroid cream which you can't use for too long

Ps I do agree that the c9 thing is bollocks. You're basically starving yourself and filling up on water

Bluesheep, the COOP's aloe shampoo and conditioner is superb, costs a fraction of Fl's and my vet approved it for my dog that has lots of skin allergies. Plus it's not tested on animals.

And yes, clean9 is ridiculous. You could drink any herbal tea or squash for 9 days and lose the same.

Hahaha good old forever living. I have a few 'friends' who sell products for them, complete waste of time but they make out it's all amazing! I don't think the penny has dropped for them yet, they think they are going to be millionaires! The amount of time I have been offered clean 9 as I am overweight..... no thanks

luckingfovely a good friend of mine sells this. She NEVER tries to flog it to unwilling friends. I agree some of the products are overrated nonsense but like others have said there are also some products that I know many people who swear by (I personally don't use apart from the lip balm!) so I would say try and make up your own mind!!

homemade there are much bigger ethical problems with FL and other MLM than just whether the products are nice or not. Buying them supports a dishonest business model that relies on people recruiting others to make any money. It’s essentially a pyramid scheme that hooks people into debt - did you know that over 95% of people who get involved in FL lose money according to Federal Trade Research. The other problem I have is the targeting of anxious people struggling with a diagnosis of a serious illness. I’ve seen FL reps try to sell FL product to cancer patients, to diabetics, in maternity wards, in a paediatric care setting, even to mental health patients (my area of work), offering them a ‘cure’ and an ‘income opportunity’. There is NO decent evidence for this stuff and these people have no qualifications, but they’re desperate to sell because they’ve been hooked into the pyramid and need sales at any cost. I’ve been watching the MLM industry for some time and it’s really shocking to me what goes on. I say don’t support this ethically unsound business even just by buying a lip balm! Sorry to rant but I really hate the way FL conducts itself.

Why not try Bitcoin. It's the same sort of thing. A scam.

I find Holland and Barrett Aloe gel good for soothing skin rashes.

Aloe is brilliant - but buy it from Boots or Superdrug instead
