Anyone completed similar?
I'm seriously thinking of giving this a go.
Anyone got any feedback from personal experience?
How much weight loss? Other benefits? Pros and cons??
TIA.

I haven’t done the 28 day plan but I am planning on doing the super blend me 10 day challenge. I think it will be more convenient than juicing and having to clean a fiddly juicer.

Rockchick1984 · 28/12/2017 08:59

I tried the Jason Vale 7 Day juice cleanse and to be honest I wasn’t impressed at all - I had no energy at all with it; and the weight I lost came back on straight away despite eating healthily afterwards.

PurpleDaisies · 28/12/2017 09:01

It will work because you aren’t eating actual food. As soon as you do, the weight will go back on.

FlightyMare · 28/12/2017 16:24

I tried the Jason Vale one too - the washing of the juicer got boring very quickly, and personally I found it unsustainable. I was hungry most of the time, lots of the juices tasted awful, and all the fresh produce was expensive. I think these 'cleanse' plans sound alluring, but in reality they're hard work, and probably not all that healthy.

Go for it
I’ve done it but not for weight loss, lost about 1.5 stone in 4 weeks
My health condition disappeared
Not too sure I would
Manage it again but I was totally desperate

Fatbergs · 28/12/2017 17:54

Ps it took several months for weight to go back on but at th tomthe o had a v healthy diet anyway

Hellohelo · 28/12/2017 19:36

I've done a juice diet and gained it straight back on. I find a vlcd such as slim&save better. You can eat, and lose weight very fast. Plus it's taken Christmas to make me gain after stopping

Ridingthegravytrain · 28/12/2017 19:39

I’m being nosey fatbergs but what health condition did you do it for (feel free to not answer if it’s private though!)

NoCanoe · 28/12/2017 20:14

Thanks for the input!
I'm still mulling it over. I love fruit and veg, which is why I thought about it being a good fit.
BUT....would low carb see better results in 28 days? Or something like exante?
I need to decide!!

No probs, I was riddled with psoriasis following a traumatic birth, and all the crap that followed.

It never came back to he same extent, or Anything close to it.

NoCanoe · 28/12/2017 23:02

@fatbergs

That's great news.
I also thought that juicing might give other benefits ,not just weight loss.

@hellohelo
Your vlcd similar to exante?
How long did you do it for?

Juicing fruit is bad for you as the juicing removes the fibre from the fruit which your body actually needs to be able absorb it properly... without the fibre it turns to sugar! Research it

I'm feeling too ill/lazy to do juicing. So I'm doing exante with a low carb dinner in the evening.
I nearly ordered the juicing plan - frozen juices delivered to door- then clicked it was working out at £18 per day!! Shock
