What's your one golden piece of weight loss advice, your best tip, to share with us all? Anything that helps you shift some lbs, stick to it, keeps you motivated, or gets you back on it after a bit of a binge.
I'm doing weight watchers so for me it's knowing I have the group leader to weigh me every week, so I'd look a bit of an idiot if I just put on weight every week Grin although I think I've majorly messed up this week!

She definitely doesn't do that. I've been friends with her since secondary school & we're 29 now & ive never once known her to count a calorie or plan what she eats, she's never been on a diet in her life, never needed to. She's one of life's very lucky people haha, good for her I suppose!

Lemon water first thing on a morning and all through the day.

I've lost 3 stone and I've kept it off for 2 years so far.
I gave up sugar, except for fruit and veg.
I read Paul McKenna's I Can Make You Thin.
His two rules for weightloss are my mantra... eat only when hungry, stop when full.
I tried MFP but
a) I ate more as I felt it was ok to use all my calorie allowance, even if I wasn't hungry
and b) there seems to be so many different calorie amounts for the same food I got confused. IE, if you looked up toast, butter and beans, the 3 calorie totals would be different to beans on buttered toast.
Exercise wise I power walked with the dogs and did Davina McCall's 7 minute HIIT routines.

Portion size.
Boiled egg if hungry.
Lots of water.
Pre diabetes isn't good.
Bed hungry is fine.

I never go for seconds.
Only allow myself max 2 chocolate biscuits or 1 mini bar per day (can't cut out chocolate completely) .
Drink loads of water.
Walk as much as possible.
Look after my appearance in general which means I'm more inclined to watch what I eat (hair, clothes etc)

Do not wear elasticated trousers or leggings etc bitter experience
. Wearing jeans means I'm aware of a gain and have to do something about it.

Weigh myself at least once a week

Switch to brown (bread, rice etc)

Sheepishly creeping back to this thread, I'm ashamed of myself the past 2 weeks. Haven't been scoffing all day long but eaten out loads which is never good! Giving myself this next week to give myself a kick up the arse & stick to all this advice because I'm fully pissing myself off now
