How often do you 'weigh in'?

Just curious.

I weigh in every morning after a wee
I'm only a short way into my weight loss. However I am finding that getting on the scales every morning keeps my arse in gear and on track.

Anyone else do this? How often do you step on the scales?

Officially weekly, actually daily Grin

GeekyWombat · 01/04/2017 20:55

Weekly on a Saturday morning but sometimes in the middle of the week if I'm losing motivation

northernylass · 01/04/2017 22:07

Glad it's not just me Grin

However I do get a wee bit irritated if the scales stick on one number for too long.

I do it everyday too. I wish I didn't cos sometimes I look in the mirror first thing and think 'ooh I think I'm looking a bit slimmer' then I get on the scales which tell me the opposite is true Smile

More than once a day Blush

00100001 · 03/04/2017 12:17

Weekly. Same time every week.

No point doing it daily imo

JennyOnAPlate · 03/04/2017 12:20

First thing on Monday mornings, so once a week.

u123 · 03/04/2017 13:49

Same as you morning after toilet

CherieBabySpliffUp · 03/04/2017 13:52

Officially weekly but every morning like you.

northernylass · 03/04/2017 15:22

It does make me think about what I'm eating each day.

Daily. Only useful way IME

00100001 · 03/04/2017 16:23

How is weighing in daily useful?

hahahaIdontgetit · 03/04/2017 20:02

How is it any less useful than once a week, the same fluctuations could apply at any point.

FeckinCrutches · 03/04/2017 20:05

Every night, to give me an idea of what I'll be in the morning Grin

Jiggaminny · 03/04/2017 20:16

Daily. And i see that it does actually go up (my weight i mean) when I've had a bad day. I'm expecting to be a stone heavier tomorrow :D

KatieKaboom · 03/04/2017 22:58

Fluctuations happen constantly, including over a day. But women have monthly fluctuations, too. If I weighed myself e.g.. at ovulation and first day of period only, I'm going to get a weird and contradictory idea of my real weight. Weighing daily allows me to see the overall trend and also to learn when I retain more water, etc. It stops me from getting discouraged by high readings when I can fit them into an overall pattern. There are several apps which do all the charting for you, in fact.
