Best satisfying snacks for someone always hungry

Help! I have gone from a size 8 to a curvy size 14 . I eat three meals a day but am always hungry and need to buy healthy snacks!

Go for protein. Eggs are great hard boiled.

I buy these for my 10 month olds but steal a few because they are actually really nice and healthy!

Second the above about protein.

Up your protein contents of your meals too. I read the magic number is to make all your meals at least 30% protein to help satiety. I tend to end up low carb-ing by default on hungry days because my meals end up just veg and protein.

Chicken fridge raiders (45 cals a small bag) are good for a protein based snack... although I have frozen cooked chicken which takes a couple of minutes to defrost as a cheap alternative.

Other snacks I have found good: popcorn (about 50 cals a small bag), tesco southern fried chicken straws (3 for about 100 cal), slimfast pretzals (about 100cal) and no added sugar jelly (4 cals a ready made pot) (However it's significantly cheaper to get 200 ml snack pots from poundland (clip and lock things that come in a pack of three) and make up your own.)

And my final genius recommendation Ben and Jerry's ice cream son of a witch which at 75 cals for one or 150 for two is pretty awesome

Avocado
A naked bar
Half a banana
Two oatcakes
A celery stick dipped in but butter

Cut right down on the carbs. Eat more fat and protein.

A couple of Brazil nuts. Literally 2 of these and I'm stuffed for ages.

A few pumpkin seeds are nice to graze on.

Tried SlimFruits the other day and they actually work really well if you have a sweet tooth. I'm terrible for snacking, had 2 of these after tea and nothing else for the night! ( which is really good for me lol )

Have some porridge for breakfast.

Eat more protein and fat.
Eat high fibre unprocessed foods, esp big amounts of vegetables.
Eat very low fructose, with the exception of fresh fruit. (The fibre slows absorbtion so is ok) So give all processed foods with added sugar, dried fruit, fruit juice, honey, agave etc a swerve.

If you like chilli - chilli and salt roasted chick peas - v filling

Oranges slow me down because of the peel.
Carrot sticks.
Pumpkin seeds.

I drink loads of fruit tea which keeps me going. If I'm struggling mid afternoon I have a spoonful of the no sugar added peanut butter.

Carrot and humus.
Full fat plain yogurt.
Omelette.
Oat cakes and cheese.
Rice cakes and peanut butter.
Apple and peanut butter.
Broccoli and peanut butter.
Anything and peanut butter.
Blue Alpen and coconut milk.

Nairns oatcakes.

Have porridge for supper too rather than sitting on the sofa grazing. Big bowl of hot porridge, I use water instead of milk but some people think that's gross!

Carrot sticks and cherry tomatoes are filling and low calorie.

Anyone been on holiday to Thailand ( Phuket) with a 4 month old baby? Tips ...
