I've just weighed myself, after having eaten 2 weetabix and a twirl for breakfast. I know I shouldn't be eating chocolate for breakfast, but even so I am shocked by how much I weigh.

I've halfheartedly tried to lose weight before but I have never been this big.

Is there anyone who is similarly sized and would like to join me?

I'm going to try to eat sensibly and have smaller portions. Not sure what to do about exercise though. I have no time at the moment esp not in the next two weeks.

not so good today
didn't do meal planning and ended up eating scraps from my cupboards (kids are away till Sat and I haven't got round shopping for next week yet)

another day tomorrow!

portions sizes and their content control is the only way forward to make it permanent change

thats what i tell myself when i have a wobble

i weigh myself once a week on hospital scales,how often do you weigh yourself

atleast you have cut the choccy for breakfast,thats an achievment

Joining. 5ft 2 weighing 15 st 2. Started calo?ie counting today. May join slimming world but not sure. Today was a good day and did an aqua class but boy am I now hungry. Better go to sleep or I may raid fridge.

my progress got weighed yesterday lost 2lLb

so have lost approx 13lLb since June 22nd

2 stone to go Grin

me well i just weighed myself,first time in 10 days,ive lost another 3 Ib,so 16 pound so far,im pretty suprised as i dont feel like i have lost some more and my clothes feel the same so bit suprised

i had a very boozy day last week and have got addicted to Alpen Granola so thougt i might of gained

hows others getting on??

Can I join too? I am 5ft 6" and weigh 15st 1lb. Was meant to start the 5:2 diet yet again today but my dh bought home cakes and I resisted for hours but eventually caved and had biscuits too. :-( i guess on the plus side I only had 1600 calories today (yesterday I had 2600!) so all not lost. Will try another fast day on Tuesday. Will probably be miserable the next two days as my naturally slim size 6 mother in law is coming over, and I have gained a stone since I last saw her! :-( anyway, will try again tomorrow to keep my calories under 2000, and after reading this thread have decided I am going to exercise tonight. I am Co sleeping so can't leave my bedroom, but I am going to try marching on the spot for 15 mins and once my eldest is back at school will go for daily walks. I want to lose 4st 8lb to get back to my pre children weight, hoping to be 14 stone by xmas. Wish me luck!

im also 5ft 6 and when i started approx 7wks ago i was 16st 4lb so a few pounds more but im now 15st 3lb i think

like you i want to get rid of quite a bit of weight
