Has anyone found a Nutribullet has helped them lose weight?

My diet is shit. Carb heavy crap, not enough veg or fruit. I'm always hungry and quite possible have a sugar addiction.

I pretty much only drink diet coke. Breakfast is normally marmite on toast.

I was thinking of getting a Nutribullet and was wondering if it would help.

My main two concerns are that a breakfast smoothie would be very filling and Id be starving by 10am, that all the fruit has lots of sugar and Id put weight on, that the more veg based healthier smoothies will taste like shit.

Any thoughts?

There's a SW overnight oats thing I make. Similar to Bircher.

35g oats, fruit (berries, chopped apple, whatever) and plain yoghurt. Sometimes a drizzle of honey. Layer it in a pot. Put in fridge overnight. In the morning stir it through. It's lovely and thick. Very low in fat and the relatively small amount of oats just seems enough to keep me going to lunch but not too much sugary fruit.

Thoughts - it would be a whole lot cheaper to join BIWI's boot camp. And low carb could be just the ticket if you're a carb heavy sugar addict.

Thanks. Have just been looking at the bootcamp thread. I'm on holiday next week but will look a bit closer at it when I get back.

It's transformed my life, viva :)

I can't see how it would unless you are replacing every meal with a smoothie. I assume you would just replace breakfast? So the rest of the day you carry on eating high carb high sugar you won't lose weight.

I guess bootcamp may be a better kick up the arse for a lifestyle change.

I am on bootcamp and have a smoothie most lunchtimes. I dont add fruit - just kale, spinach, cucumber etc with coconut oil and an avocado - topped with water, filling and full of goodness. Love my ninja nutri.

i would suggest plant based diet with loads of healthy fats and very few / no processed foods.

No but it does get much more veg into me than I'd otherwise eat. I have a smoothie of banana, frozen berries, broccoli or spinach cucumber etc. the banana sweetens the whole thing & you can't taste the veggies

If you are considering a nutribullet, save yourself some money and get the breville active blend. It is great. I take frozen fruit mixed with a little pure Apple juice every say and save myself £3 a day not buying a smoothie. It cost £25 so a fraction of the price.

Seconding the Breville, it's amazing. Also amazing customer service, I should add :)
