Wobbly bits!

I've lost 2 stone through exercise (I did Shaun T's T25) and using MFP. I am feeling fitter and healthier than ever...HOWEVER, I still have bad wobbly bits that don't seem to firm up, or go away. Mainly stomach and thighs really.. Does anyone know if these will ever go? I know some areas are stubborn but mine just jiggle away, and I know there is muscle underneath now. In fact my core has never been so strong. Is it just having a baby that does it to you? How do those blooming celebs manage to get their toned tummies back so quickly? Help and advice welcomed! Be gentle I'm a newbie here :)

I've had four children and no the wobbly bits are not from the rigours of having children. You can get that body back to how it once was but it takes time. No amount of crunches t25 shred will totally get rid of it but diet will. My weight went through the roof a few years ago and with grit and determination I reclaimed it back. I'm still pushing and transforming and will never stop the foods harder than the gym and the weights I lift.
You can do it anyone can you've just got to want it more than anything for yourself not to please others. Good luck you can do this

Thank you for your motivation! I will push on with my quest! I do feel my diet has improved but I have a massive appetite and sugar addiction so I must address these things properly. I guess I'd like to think that largely through exercise alone it can be done, but sadly it seems we must not only work ourselves into a painful sweat, but starve ourselves too... :( e.g today I was doing really well. Had a big tuna salad at lunch time, feeling smug.. Straight afterwards I had to spoil it by shoving a lovely big slice of farmhouse white bread with butter in my mouth whilst getting my DDs sandwich. It was like a compulsion!

Aww sweetie you don't have to starve yourself at all . I eat 6meals a day lots of protien and vegetables galore. I get jaw ache I eat that much. Also drink at least 3liters of water a day. Try my fitness pal and log every mouth full. It's hard especially when your a busy mum but you can do it. Keep pushing you will get there

Apparently weightlifting is the best for sorting out wobbly bits. the muscle gained gives the area structure and gives the skin something to hang on to. The advice on myfitnesspal is to 'lift heavy'!

I'm all for heavy lifting but diet is still a huge portion of getting rid of the wobbly bits. I could of written the original post a few years ago.

Sorry I assumed op was at her goal weight? If you are still losing then yes the main strategy for losing fat is less calories, but I'm assuming the op knows this as she has managed to lose 2 stone.

Thanks ladies, yes I've heard that too about heavy lifting.. However I also know that you can't 'target' areas of your body for weight loss, especially the tummy. My core is actually really strong (underneath) just very buried beneath the wobble! Pumpkinpie your diet sounds good to me, as long as I feel satisfied then that's good. Do you tend to have to cook yourself separate food from the family? I'm also rubbish at drinking water-how on earth do you manage 3 litres? Maybe that would help to firm up the skin a bit!
