I've battled with eating problems for years now. I haven't been too bad over the past year, but I am getting worse. I have just eaten a huge bag of peanut m&ms and now I feel very very sick. I need to stop eating so much crap and eat properly before I revert back to old habits and start making myself sick again. I feel so guilty for eating them. I can't afford to go to weight watchers of slimming world. I just need to be able to stop eating so much rubbish. I don't want to feel sluggish all the time anymore. What diet can I follow that doesn't cost a fortune?

Angel, you could join in with one of the dieting threads on here as you can do your own weigh-in and don't have to pay for a class then. I'm on the "lose 10lbs" one and we've only just started last week. The other threads look really supportive too.

Has something triggered the eating problem again?

i agree with loopity, i am on the lardy ladies thread and it is a great motivation knowing i have to weigh in every week and good to know others are doing it too.

i am not doing an particular diet but i have made an attempt to cut down on carbs - little or no bread smaller portions of pasta potatoes etc. it is hard to get started but once you lose a few pounds you will feel more motivated. the sluggish feeling will disappear a week or so after eating sensibily.

good luck!

thank you.

theres nothing i can think of thats triggered it. maybe i am a little bit bored with things. don't know if thats affected it.

Hi Angel,

have to agree with pesme. I'm on the carboholics thread. I know low-carb has a bad rep but it might help you to at least cut out all sugar - if you can't face cutting out bread or pasta don't. It might help remove hunger pangs and cravings. Reduce the sugar and increase the green veg and protein.

i dont eat bread anyway really. i like pasta but dont eat it loads.
