Thinking of buying a rebounder, are they any good??

I am planning to do the Jason Vale juicing detox and he recommends rebounding as a form of exercise. I literally did not even know what that was until 20 mins ago! I am tempted though as it does look quite good and like the fact that you can use it indoors for short bursts of time.
I have a 10 month old and so am time short at the moment.
The thing is, I have already spent money on the juicer and now I'm about to order a trampoline!
I am very committed to loosing weight and getting fit at the moment I don't think I have ever been this large eek.
Can anyone recommend this as a form of exercise? I am due to go back to work full time soon so time will be even more scarce soon!

I thought that this would be ideal for me a couple of months ago. I'm happy to bounce about on a normal trampoline, and thought that having one of the JuiceMaster rebounders in my bedroom would be a Good Thing to get a bit of exercise going. Easy to order (I also ordered the DVD showing routines, although this might have been included in the price) and delivered very swiftly. The rebounder was very robust.

BUT the thing was, I found myself terrified of falling off it! Being so much smaller than a trampoline, you obviously can only deviate from dead centre a little bit. Watching the DVD whilst on it meant that I couldn't watch the position of my feet. The fact that it was positioned close to the fitted wardrobe doors and my wooden framed bed probably didn't help! I was really surprised at how anxious I felt - I'm usually a physically brave person.

Having said that, I called JuiceMaster Customer Service a couple of days later to explain how I felt and the young man I spoke to was very understanding and arranged for the rebounder and DVD to be collected (at a time convenient to me). He said he would arrange a refund for me, and I was fully expecting the cost of delivery and collection to be deducted from my refund. It wasn't!

So my advice is to go for it. HTH

i have had one rusting away in my garage for years.

It's not a Juice Master model, just a small one from Argos.

Just didn't bother using it after the first week.
