BEST WEIGHT LOSS PLAN?

Hi Ladies,

I have quite a lot to lose, I was a size 12 until I came down with depression and binge ate prior to having my son who is now 20 months and the weight has just crept steadily up ever since - now a size 24. I desperately need to lose it.

I have done varying plans in the past but seem to fall off the wagon as soon as I think I'm doing well, I'll lose nearly 2 stone then binge on takeaways and be right back where I was.

I just cant decide at the moment what the way to go is...but need to go any way, and fast...

fellow serial dieters, out of everything you've tried...what's the best?

I wish I had an answer. I'm similar and am trying Fasting at the moment. It seems to be working well so far though its early days.

Paul McKenna's I Can Make You Thin; and possible Emotional Eating.

It's all about changing your relationship with food rather than weighing it, measuring it, 'loving' it, hating it, banning it.

thanks, I have the gastric band hypnosis already but either didnt listen enough or it didn't work on me...maybe I should dig it out and just force myself to listen to it over and over

Im a serial dieter and have come to the conclusion that all diets can work as long as you stick to them.....and there's where I come unstuck.
I've just ordered paul mckennas emotional eating book as thats my problem.

Can I just say that the 5:2 diet really seems to have clucked with me. I thought about it for months before I tried it. I've been able to resist food easily and on the days that I can eat, I have a reduced appetite.
Maybe worth considering?

Diets don't deal with the reason you overeat.
Another Paul McKenna fan here.

I can honestly say that the only way to fix such long term emotional eating is to have gastric surgery. It is a means of 'resetting' the mind attitude towards food.
