just joined sw on line having done it successfully before and yes - now put it all back on and more!! Have 5 stone to lose !!!!!!! I find lunches really difficult. I am a SAHM but i don't want to spend long getting lunch ready as i don't have too much time at that part of the day and especially if i have to prepare evening meal as well. Any ideas for quick and nice lunches for both green and original days as i tend to alternate. Thanks v much

When i was doing slimming world I loved baked potato and beans for lunch. Also homemade vegetable soup (quicker than it sounds - boil all your veggies then whizz them in a blender) - see some of the soups in the 'you are what you eat cookbook' You can freeze it in portions and just reheat in microwave or keep a jug of it in the fridge. Also the pasta n' sauce packets are sin free and just the right size for lunch. Not so good on red days I'm afraid as not a big meat eater.

Good luck

agree with wahtstheplan.... I often eat a left over curry or chilli from night before with jacket spud for lunch or pasta from night before as salad or put under grill with grated cheese (as HE A) (all green days here as well!)
Today have just had wholemeal roll (HE B) with cheese (HE A) and salad with apple and yogurt for afters.

I did find the SW plan a bit of a faff to get into - especially lunches - but after a few weeks it was alll very straightforward!
Good luck

thanks - just quick question. I didn't think cereals were synned food but on looking at the list i see that they carry about 5 syns. Do i include this in my 5-51 syns a day or not?

if you have a wholegrain type cereal then 28g of it would count as a HE B (you need to check in your boook or online the exact amount for different brands)
I usually have 28g bran flakes for breakfast with loads of fruit and very low fat natural yogurt.
