Would someone like to tell me what to eat?

I recently put 2 stone back on that I lost and I'm really annoyed with myself. I normally follow Slimming World which I really like but I just can't get my head into anything at the minute. I think sometimes my main problem is deciding what to eat so I thought if someone else told me what to eat it'd make it a bit easier for me so that's your challenge (whoever decides to respond), tell me what to eat and I'll follow it to the letter.

I have no dietary requirements and will eat most things but I don't really eat any fish.

At the minute I have in the house; 4 banana's, 4 leaks, 2 apples, cauliflower, broccoli, 2 parsnips, a load of carrots, potatoes, cheese, eggs and some other basics. I would ideally not like to buy any more fruit and veg but I will if I have to.

I will eat meat but don't want to buy anything too expensive. I get weighed at Slimming World on a Monday morning so whatever eating plan is suggested first I'll do until a week on Monday because I didn't get weighed this week so it won't be accurate this Monday.

I know there are general support threads for weight loss but I get lost in them just reading them never mind posting so thought I'd do my own.

Thanks for reading and hopefully helping Smile any questions just ask.

Normal day :
Breakfast = mug of tea and glass of fruit juice
Lunch = single slice sandwich of ham or tuna or chicken with mayo and branston
Supper = tonight was veg stir fry with fish (you could do chicken)
or soup and bread
or jacket potato and tuna or corn or chilli
or spanish omelette
or baked chicken with olives and veg

but the main thing to note is that I eat nothing at all outside those narrow meal times ...

I'm also healthy eating, no dieting just cutting out crap and no alcohol

Typical day:

Breakfast - 2 weetabix, handful of almonds, or scrambled egg on whole meal toast
Lunch - homemade soup, dry crispbread
Dinner - homemade quorn wholemeal lasagne, or homemade curry and brown rice, or wholemeal pasta

I've lost 6 stones and I do 5:2 fasting (so 2 days a week 500 cals all day but then eat normally 5 days a week). But I'll try and help you with a typical eating day during the working week (weekends are a bit mroe indulgent!).

Breakfast - banana and plain full-fat bio-yoghurt with fresh berries
Lunch - soup and slice or two of wholemeal or sourdough bread with butter
Dinner - this is largest meal of the day when I usually have a substantial meat or veg stew with bread or curry with rice or pasta with meat ragu; followed by some dark chocolate or Haagen Daz ice cream or just fruit.

Apart from weekends, I don't snack between meals.

Thanks everyone. I've had bran flakes and milk for breakfats and I think I'll have a small brown breadbun with ham for dinner.
When people have stir frys do you have just the veg and fish or whatever or do you have them with rice and noodles.
I might try 5:2, i previously got mixed up though and was just eating low calories all the time. Do you usually cout calories at all on your non fast days i wory I'll go overboard.

NeverHadANickname I don't count calories at all. I used to when I was learning about what a healthy normal portion should be but now I can eyeball normal portions. But most new "dieters" will still calorie count on all days for a few months and it's what I'd recommend if you don't mind the faff of doing it. If you're interested about 5:2 there's a very active thread with lots of newbies on it:

I just have stir-fries with protein but only because I find noodles in stirfries a bit bland (on the other hand I love noodles in ramen soup!).
