I am doing Weight watchers and I do the point system. Some don't like it as you have to count the points in everything you eat, however I like to do this as it helps me stay in control. I also like the fact that if I want a bar of chocolate thhn I can have it but I have to point it. Slimming World is good if you have a large appetite as you get to eat certain foods until you feel completely satisfied but it restricts you a little on what you can eat.

Thanks Chloe .... what's the difference between the WW Points and No points.
The no Points sounds too good to be true.

I want to subscribe to WW - but I'm not too sure what option to go for.

Like you - the points system worked for me last time .... I think it's a control thig Wink

No points is a little like Slimming World. There are certain foods that you can eat as much as you like of but you can't snack in between meals. You are also given 22 points (I think) which you share out for the full week - these are used on treats, like wine/choc etc. So, this way it is easier than the points system but I like to have at least one glass of wine and a couple of peices of choc a night - more on weekends so therefore this doesn't work for me coz I can't live on 22 treat points Smile

are you doing meetings / at home or online ?

Weight Watchers is good, because as well as the support of the meetings (and you can just go for the weigh-ins if you don't have time) you can have the books at home with the points content of foods. i would go for counting points cos then snacking and several small meals are easier. They also give you a chart at meetings which you can stick on the fridge so you keep track of how many points you've had each day. I mainly liked it cos if you eat half a tub of ice cream one day you can make up for it the next, and you can also save up points (have a little less each day of the week and use those points for a meal out at the weekend). Whatever you choose i hope its good for you.

I go to the meetings but I don't stay to class because I have a 3mth old so it is just too much hassle. I do have a spare book which has got all the details of how to do Weight Watchers and has all your food points in if you would like me to post it out to you?
