Moomin - yes, as long as you eat them as part of a meal, you can eat them until you are 'comfortably full'. So, it depends on your appetite as to how much you eat. I love NC, because I love my lean meats and starches. So, you can make almost uncountable variations, plus 'normal' recipes (like shepherd's pie and spag. bol.) as long as you use no oil etc.
Dewberry - No, only snack between meals on fruit/veg/WW fruities, unless you are taking the points out of your allowance of 21. So, a Muller Light would be free if eaten as part of your meal, but would have to be counted if you ate it between meals.
Also, if you have a recipe where all the components are on the NC list except one or two, you only have to point the ingredients that aren't on the list. e.g., if you made a spaghetti bolognese, but used oil, you would have to point the oil, whereas the other ingredients would be on the list, so would be free. A lot of members who did NC thought that the Full Choice recipes could not be used by them, but that really isn't the case, as long as you take the non-free items from your allowance.
Another anomoly is the large Snack-a-jacks. They are free as part of a meal. However, the chocolate chips ones aren't. Uusally they are 1 point for people on Full Choice, but, because the other ones are 0.5 points and free on NC, you only have to count the other 0.5 points if you want to eat the chocolate chip ones!
Bit confusing, but the plan really works. Some of my old members swear by the plan. I love it because I need to feel full after a meal. With Full Choice, I always had to have a couple of points saved for the evening, otherwise I would stuff my face. With No Count, I eat so much bulk that it usually keeps me going all evening.
Having said that, I weigh in tomorrow morning, having done a week of NC, so I'll post my losses (fingers crossed). I don't actually feel lighter, and am on at the moment, so who knows!
