this time last year I was 11 stone I have exercised a lot using mainly my exercise bike and 30 day shred on and off throughout this time, I am now 9 and a half stone (same as what I was pre pregnancy) which is probably ideal for my height 5ft 4 but I?m now so flabby it?s disgusting and makes me feel really uncomfortable

in the last year I?ve not changed my diet much at all so I know this is probably the problem any ideas on what I can do to start burning the fat because exercising alone doesn?t seem to be doing much anymore I haven?t lost any weight for a good few months now and my holiday is booked for 5 months away so would like to make a big change to my body before then so I can feel comfortable for once if it?s even possible in such a short time frame
any advice is much appreciated :)

I can't really see how you can be that flabby at that weight Confused if you've been exercising.

You don't really have much weight to lose at that height, but if you want to burn fat, then low carbing is the way to go. I'd probably also, though, go to your nearest gym and ask them for a programme that will help you tone up.

Incorporate more strength training into your workouts and use HIIT to blast fat (this happens to be the basis of JM workouts). Change up your routine to challenge your body which has most likely hit a bit of a plateau. Make sure you are working to your maximum ability, not "phoning it in" Grin

I agree with BIWI, you probably don't need to lose much weight but by building muscle and burning fat you will shrink and tone up. Note that you can't change fat into muscle, they are different. By low carbing (not the same as no carbs) and maximising your lean protein intake you should maintain/build muscles and lose fat. Aim for at least 100g of protein per day, use MFP to track.
