May I ask for your best tips to conquer your sugar cravings?

I have a terribly sweet tooth but I really want to shift a stone. Not a lot of weight but I have been failing miserably for the past two years now. I have recently bought SucroGuard which is supposed to help with sugar cravings. Any other tips you'd recommend?

Brush your teeth with minty toothpaste.

I mean when you're craving sugar - brush your teeth with a minty toothpaste.

You could bake with sukrin or xylitol instead if sugar.

Go cold turkey, it'll be tough for the first few days but after that you'll be fine. Ime sugar cravings are hard to manage if you continue to eat sugar.

Good luck, it'll be worth it!

I spent all the money I was saving from not eating chocolate etc on non food treats such as new nail varnish, magazines, nice candles etc. Cold turkey is the best way, he'll for 2 weeks and then it gets a lot easier.

I like something sweet after a meal - a couple of dates is sweet and satisfying. They're also nutritious and good for digestion.

I've found that cutting down on all carbs in general helps me with the sugar cravings. If you are really struggling then decaffeinated diet coke can be a life saver. Not in large quantities obviously, but it can take the edge off a craving. Best of luck.

Stop eating bread, or at least only eat it occasionally, I have found that makes a big difference to carb cravings all round.

I bought L-Glutamine powder to help with the cravings I'd already got over the worst by the time I tried it.

I've heard L-glutamine is useful too, but it's renowned for making you constipated.
