Scales - are digital always more accurate than the old-fashioned ones?

My digital scales weigh 2lbs heavier than any other scales I step on (slimming clubs, sports centre scales, my Mums' digital scales), they are definately wrong but consistently wrong.

I don't think it really matters, as long as you use the same ones all the time. Are you trying to lose weight?
