Right, got off my arse this morning and decided it was time to stop treating my body like a bin. I'm 5ft 6, 10st 10lbs. Target weight is 9st 7lbs (is acheivable as I was this weight after DS1 when I was not eating s*e every day). I'm 38...

Today I will mostly be eating:
50g porridge + 5 raspberries and tsp of flaxseeds+ soya milk
Water and lemon (keeps me regular)

2 egg salad and tsp of mayo + banana
cup of tea + soya milk

prawn stir fry (100g of prawns, loads of veg and 30g of rice)

Lots of water

No idea what this works out as calorie wise but issimlar to what I was eating before when I lost weight after DS1. I've re- read Marissa Peer book which advocates no wheat, cutting right back on carbs and no dairy. Worked before so fingers crossed second time around.....Feel free to cheer me on/slag off my diet/ give me pointers.....

Hello, good luck with it! I am not going to slag off your diet as if it works for you that's fine - doesn't seem like a lot of food though? I would be starving!

Fourfingerkitkat · 29/08/2012 17:34

Yes on paper it doesn't look like much does it ? But I've just had dinner and actually feel stuffed. If I'm peckish later I'll just have some mint tea. Trying not to eat after 6pm too...

Sorry stupid iPhone! I think your food l

Creamtea1 · 29/08/2012 21:26

3rd attempt - food looks good I would agree with try not to eat after 6 and maybe drop the rice from the eve meal (no carbs at dinner). That's what I did.

Fourfingerkitkat · 29/08/2012 23:02

Thanks for the feedback Creamtea1 and bloody well done to you ! That's impressive...Would you up the prawns and lose the rice then ? Can I ask what age you are too ?

DS1 is 4 now and I was around the 9st 7 mark when he was about 10 months which meant I was about 34ish (can't count... very tired...) 4yrs older shouldn't make that much difference I hope.

Hi kit kat, I'm 35 now (only just tho :) and yes would up the prawns and drop the rice. Also do you like omelettes? They are a staple with salad etc for my dinners, igenerally just have usual stuff but substitute the carbs with some veg or salad.
Apart from today when I have eaten scones (plural) and macdonalds. And Doritos. Errrm yes.

Fourfingerkitkat · 30/08/2012 08:13

I'm sure you're allowed a wee slip up now and then when you've done all the hard work.

Having omlette for tea tonight actually....

Eating for today :
Porridge + raspberries+ flaxseed

3XOatcakes and houmous
Banana

Omlette (with maybe more prawns got a load of them to get through!) and large salad/veg (no potatoes, maybe brocolli and carrots)

Might cheat and have a wee weigh in at the weekend to see how I'm doing though I know I should really wait a week to see the full benefit.
