Stayed the same!....... gutted really because I've been so good. Sad

Maybe I need to exercise more

wilbur · 15/03/2006 08:24

Hooray - down to 11st 7lbs, lost 2 lbs. But then I'm on holiday next week and will probably put it all on again.

Smalline · 15/03/2006 09:53

Nothing to report this week still 12 stone 1. I know the weight has been coming off very sloooooowly but I'm still going to stick with it, the proof is in my clothes they are all fitting nice and loose. I'm off to the gym now so good luck everybody and thanks for keeping this going.

niccick · 15/03/2006 10:03

12 st 9lb for me

sorry about my mistake hun

tangerinecath · 15/03/2006 11:49

My word there are so many of you on here that sound like me! I have gained again this week and am now back to 16st. I weigh more now than I did when I started Blush. Am getting more and more frustrated with my lack of ability to stop myself overeating.

I may have an excuse though... I started going to the gym a couple of weeks ago and my instructor reckons you can gain weight when you first start going as you lose fat but put on muscle which is denser.

Sounds reasonable, so I reckon I'll use that excuse Grin

A huge well done for all the great losses on this thread. Puts us slackers to shame.

SleepyJess · 15/03/2006 20:21

Only lost half a pound this week. Really need to knuckle back down.. even though I am pleased with and am enjoying my 11lb loss so far (it's slightly less on our chart because I joined the Lardy Club before Slimming World and weighed more on their scales than mine!)

Am 11 stone half a pound. Will be a landmark when I am 10 stone something again.. which will hopefully be next week.

Keep at it girlies.. I think we are doing great even if we do gain/maintain sometimes. We are still trying which is the main thing. :)

SJ x

Furball · 16/03/2006 09:57

Charts on it's way. Loads of gaps this week - where is everybody?

Figleaf - you magical marvel please.

jambuttie · 16/03/2006 10:01

its looking good eh seeing all those weight losses

tangerinecath · 16/03/2006 10:04

Thanks Furball, chart has just landed.

While I'm disappointed at my gain, I really believe that I would have carried on ballooning if it hadn't been for this thread.

Is anyone else an angel on Monday as they know they have to post their weight on Tuesday; then a devil on Wednesday as there's nearly a week until the next weigh in???

unicorn · 16/03/2006 10:13

I have been away, and unfortunately put on 2lbs.
Sad
Blame the drinking, so I shall have to cut it out again, it really is no good for me.

Furball · 16/03/2006 13:57

tai tai - your email couldn't be delivered:(

Dustanyone · 16/03/2006 22:06

Tangerinecath, I do!

I'm not terrible but my weigh in at weight watchers is Tues evening so I have started allowing myself a little (or big!) treat on Wednesdays.

hullabaloo · 16/03/2006 22:40

Thanks furball for the chart and sorry I haven't posted recently. My family have been rather ill and have all lost LOADS of weight. (All except me I got stuck playing Nurse Nancy!! Hard choice isn't it .. healthy but fat or skinny and thin!!! Wink)
Anyway not sure I like the fact that my weight loss has returned to zero maybe I should pay more attention to this and stop eating or move my butt! It's about time I started training for my race for life anyway!!

busywizzy · 17/03/2006 19:17

I've been very good foodwise this week but no exercise as busy, busy, busy at work. Yesterday, I left home at 5.30am for a meeting in Birmingham and got back home just before 8pm. Really don't feel like leaping around with Davina after a day like that!!

Am going to try and get out running with DD again this weekend now she is better, although it's DS's first birthday tomorrow so lots of family and friends coming around and no doubt los of food, cake and alcohol to be consumed Grin

Good luck everyone with the weekend.

busywizzy · 17/03/2006 19:18

Oh yes, my bad day is Tuesday. As soon as I've weighed in, I almost feel I have a free licence to be bad that day Grin

busywizzy · 18/03/2006 21:13

Today was DS's first birthday and I must have used up thousands of calories with all the running around I've done.

Including my own two, we had 7 babies all around 1 year, one aged 2, one aged 5, one aged 6, two aged 7 and two aged 8. On top of this were all the assorted parents of said children and all our family which totalled up to be LOTS OF PEOPLE Grin

I spent the morning shopping, tidying the house and cooking (well, heating up the food I'd bought really). Then in the afternoon, I made endless cups of tea and coffee, got drinks for children, handed round plates of food and washed up cups to make more tea and coffee. When they all left, the house looked like a bomb site so DH and I tidied up before I got to work on getting the children to bed.

I'm exhausted now and off for a glass of wine and sod the calories - I deserve it Grin

Happy Birthday DS Smile

tortoise · 18/03/2006 21:19
