What yoghurts can you eat on Dukan attack phase?

Somewhere I read that only plain, natural low-fat yog allowed. Then somewhere else I read that any low-fat yog except fruit is ok and that vanilla was definitely allowed. But the vanilla MullerLight that I just bought has almost exactly the same carb levels as the fruit Mullers... help, I don't get it!

And I see that you can eat fresh herbs - can you use enough to make a salad with?

I didn't think you were allowed dairy in attack???

I ate onken fat free vanilla with oat bran.

Afaik fat free natural yoghurt (no fruit or sweeteners of any kind!) and fat free Greek yoghurt are fine. I usually add some ground cinnamon to my Greek yog to make it a bit more interesting.

You can have dairy in the Dukan attack phase, skimmed milk, fat free unsweetened yoghurt and some low fat cheese is ok (cottage, quark, low fat cheddar etc.) but you have to avoid things like brie, Camembert etc. Eggs of course are allowed too!

I can't remember exactly but I had fat free natural yoghurt with my oat stuff so it must have been in the attack phase

Just be careful with yogurts as many of them especially the low fat ones will contain High Fructose Corn Syrup HFCS. HFCS is an artificial sweetener, put in cos if you take the fat out, the food tastes like cardboard. Problem is, that it switches off the hormone leptin, which regulates hunger, which is why if you eat something with HFCS in it, you may then find yourself losing all control and going on an all day rampage.

Thanks, everyone! I loathe natural yoghurt but cinammon to flavour it is a great idea! I'll check out the carbs in the Onken one, thanks Jam.

The problem is that I haven't found ANY fat free non natural yoghurts without added sugar in the UK. So for this reason I'd say only natural yoghurt. He says vanilla yoghurt ok but all the ones for sale here have some added sugar. greek yoghurt has 4g carbs per 100g, the natural fat free live one I think 6.5g carbs per 100g - so wouldn't eat any with higher carbs than that.

I had some of the Total 0% Greek Yoghurt this morning and added some cinammon and vanilla - it was disgusting. I think I'll actually make it savoury instead - I've put lemon juice, salt & garlic in it before now, to use as a topping for some over-baked dish or other and that was far more palatable.
